Textile Enterprises Have Stronger Purchasing Demand For Cotton.

Textile and garment retail continued to slump.

Since May, garment retail sales have slowed down compared with the same period last year, and downstream consumption has been weak.

According to the National Bureau of statistics, in May 2016, the total retail sales of clothing, shoes and hats and needle textiles increased by 5.9% over the same period last year, down 6.6 percentage points from the same period last year.

"Wear" goods increased by 16.2%, down 14.1 percentage points from the same period last year.

According to the data of the China National Business Information Center, in May 2016, the retail sales volume of 100 major large-scale retail enterprises decreased by 6.1% compared to the same period last year, the growth rate was 8 percentage points lower than that of the previous month, which was 9.2 percentage points slower than the same period last year.

The retail sales of clothing decreased by 7.2% compared with the same period last year, and the growth rate dropped by 7.8 percentage points from last month, which is 13.3 percentage points lower than that of the same period last year.

Among them, the growth rate of men's wear, women's wear and children's wear all showed negative growth. Men's clothing decreased by 8.7% compared with the same period last year, while women's wear decreased by 6.7% compared with the same period last year, while children's wear decreased by 4.4% compared with the same period last year.

The production and sale rate of cloth is 100.45%, the ratio of the ring is increased by 3.5 percentage points, up 10.2 percentage points compared to the same period last year. The inventory is 34.6 days sales, the reduction is 6.2 days compared with the same period, reducing 20.8 days compared with the same period last year.

Textile enterprises purchase cotton actively.

At present, raw material inventory of textile enterprises is still relatively low. In order to maintain production, it is necessary to replenish stock continuously, but there is a shortage of cotton resources in the spot market.

Purchasing intention survey showed that in early June 2016, 76% of enterprises were prepared to purchase raw materials, 1 percentage points higher than the annulus ratio, 1 percentage points lower than the same period last year, 24% of the enterprises taking a wait-and-see attitude, 1 percentage points lower than the 1 percentage points, and 1 percentage points higher than the same period last year.
