According to the newly released Pathfinder's first half performance report, the revenue of Pathfinder has increased by 60.86% to 1 billion 87 million yuan over the previous year, but net profit has plummeted 23.93% to 93 million 980 thousand yuan over the same period last year.
Although some market participants believe that the Pathfinder is currently in the construction stage of the outdoor ecosystem, a large amount of capital invested in the initial construction and failed to get revenue, thus affecting the performance.
However, after 7 months' performance announcement, industry analysts have publicly indicated that the Pathfinder needs to bear the double pressure from sales growth of outdoor products and the loss of net profit from travel service.
It is understood that the Pathfinder has been listed since 2009, operating income increased from less than 300 million yuan to more than 3 billion 800 million yuan, but net profit last year was 263 million yuan, a decrease of 10.5% compared with the same period last year, of which the outdoor products sector is still the basic business of Pathfinder, and also the main source of profits.
The data released by China's outdoor industry report released recently showed that the 10 year compound growth rate of domestic outdoor products industry exceeded 60% in 2001 ~2010.
In 2013, the domestic core outdoor goods market increased by 16.7% over the previous year, the growth rate for the first time was less than 20%. In 2014, the growth rate was 10.9% compared with 2013, and the growth rate in 2015 was only 5.3% compared with 2014, the first time in recent years, less than 10%.
According to the report analysis, most brands will enter a new growth cycle from 2017: "in 2016 and 2017, it is still a single digit growth, and the growth rate in 2018 and 2019 will reach 2 digits, and the growth rate in 2020 is expected to exceed 20%."
