But compared to the current local market reserve cotton sales price of 14900 yuan / ton, the new cotton cost price is higher than 500 yuan / ton, it is expected that sales will be more difficult.

This is also one of the main reasons why the current cotton ginning companies dare not buy up.

According to the national cotton market monitoring system Hebei Tangshan monitoring station information staff, during the National Day holiday, the purchase price of local cotton seed rose gradually, from 3.4-3.5 yuan / jin to the current 3.7-3.8 yuan / Jin, an increase of about 9%.

The main reason for the increase in price is partly the decline of cotton planting area and the reduction of total cotton production. On the other hand, it is the peak season for acquisitions, and cotton enterprises all want to increase the purchase volume, and there is a "rush to buy" phenomenon.

Despite the rise in seed cotton prices, the cotton purchase amount of local cotton enterprises fell sharply during the national day.

During the same period last year, the average purchasing capacity of cotton enterprises was 200 thousand kg or so, and this year the purchase volume was only about 150 thousand kg, with a decrease of about 25%. The cotton enterprises with a smaller purchase amount acquired 100 thousand kg in the same period last year, and this year the purchase volume is 5-6 Jin Jin, with a decrease of 50%.

Another local cotton farmers learned that at present, the local cotton picking rate has reached about 50%, and there are many brokers who buy cotton seeds in the countryside. Most cotton farmers do not have the mentality of selling, but only a few cotton farmers are on the sidelines.
