In 2015, the revised advertising law appeared to be harmful to the trademark application of "national liquor Moutai": advertisements should not be used in terms of "state-level", "superlative" or "best".

The "national wine" just implies the definition of "the best wine in the country" and "national liquor".

After 4 years of trademark objection application, the "national wine" trademark dispute finally came to an end.

The website of the State Trademark Bureau showed that in December 26, 2016, the application for trademark objection of "national liquor Moutai" was completed.

The trademark war, which lasted for several years, ended with the failure of Guizhou Moutai after the joint opposition of many liquor companies, but many subsequent problems did not end.

According to the ruling of the State Trademark Office, according to the thirty-fifth provision of the trademark law, if the objection is not satisfied with the decision, it may apply to the Trademark Review and Adjudication Board for reexamination within 15 days from the date of receipt of the decision.

Now the State Trademark Office has decided to "apply for no registration", which means that there will be no further publicity such as "national wine Moutai".
