A Skin Care Fabric That Releases Vitamins.
1, the emergence of vitamin skin care fabrics.
Skin is the most important safety barrier for human body. With the development of industry, environmental pollution is becoming more and more serious. The carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides and sulfur oxides in the atmosphere are increasing. These pollutants not only cause direct harm to the respiratory system, but also cause skin allergy. Therefore, it is very necessary to maintain skin health.
In addition to cosmetics, skin care is a safe and effective protective method for natural and environmental protection.
At home and abroad, many R & D institutions have applied new and high technology functions to develop various functional finishing agents, such as antibacterial, deodorizing, moisture absorption, sweating, cooling, vitamins and other special finishing processes, and made some progress.
Use
Beijing Jie Er Shuang Hi Tech Co., Ltd.
The development of skin care finishing agent Vc+e, the finishing agent is vitamin C palmitate (alias ascorbate palmitate) and vitamin E as the main component of the total encapsulation microcapsule, through the extrusion and friction to release skin care vitamin C and vitamin E, is a high safety skin care finishing agent, it is no irritation to the skin, no allergic reaction, easy to use, simple and feasible process, the treated fabric has cosmetic like anti pollution and anti-oxidation, conditioning, moisturizing, cleaning skin and other special functions.
2. Summary of microencapsulation technology and preparation of microcapsules
Vitamin fabric
The microencapsulation technology is used to encapsulate the vitamins in the microcapsule. Through special means, it will firmly combine with the fabric materials, and release vitamins continuously after friction.
Microencapsulation is a new technology that uses thin layers of natural or synthetic materials to encapsulate gases, liquids and solid particles from dozens of nanometers to hundreds of microns.
The size of [1] microcapsule is generally in the micron range. The substance encapsulated in the microcapsule is called the core, and the core can be solid or liquid or gas.
The coating film formed outside the microcapsule is called the wall material.
Wall materials are usually made of natural or synthetic polymer materials, or inorganic compounds.
The advantage of microencapsulation technology is that when the microcapsule is formed, the core material is coated and separated from the external environment. The properties of the core material are preserved without influence, and at the right time, when the wall material is damaged, the core material is released, which brings many convenience to the use.
Vitamin microcapsules are generally divided into two types: the first is microcapsules with open pores.
The ideal microcapsule is that there are many tiny holes on the wall. When the air temperature rises or wears, the body temperature is expanded, and the vitamins are accelerated and released by heat.
Conversely, when people do not wear such skin care clothing, such as storage in the process, due to low temperature caused by shrinkage or closed pores, the release rate of flavor slowly.
The second category is enclosed microcapsules.
The wall shell does not contain micropores. Only when people are in contact with the outside world when they are dressed, can they release the fragrance by breaking the wall of the capsule. This closed type skin care finishing microcapsule is usually prepared by the composite condensation method of gelatin Arabia gum system.
[2] microcapsules, which are made of microcapsules, are cured with rigid wall. They can be directly encapsulated and dried directly without curing. The microcapsules are not only open, but also soluble in warm water. Gelatin film dissolves and releases vitamins.
The closed type skin care finishing microcapsules can also be prepared by in-situ polymerization, and urea formaldehyde or melamine formaldehyde preshrinking bodies are used to form a well sealed urea formaldehyde resin or melamine resin wall film around the vitamin drops.
This vitamin skin care finishing agent is the main product in the market at present. It has the advantages of skin care finishing.
3. selection of vitamins
With reference to the makeup and structure of cosmetics, vitamin C and vitamin E have good antioxidant and metabolic effects on skin, so vitamin C and vitamin E are the first choice for skin care.
After a lot of tests and tests, we found that after vitamin C was finished on fabric, one fatal weakness was its oxidizability. This resulted in the oxidation of vitamin C components and the loss of activity after finishing the skin care fabric for a certain time. It failed to achieve the proper efficacy of vitamin C.
In addition, during the finishing process, the addition of other additives, drying and setting temperatures will cause accelerated oxidation of vitamin C.
How to maintain the activity of vitamin C, and it is not easy to be oxidized. After a lot of screening tests, we finally selected vitamin C palmitate (the other name L- ascorbate palmitate) as the core material of microcapsules, and achieved the desired results.
4. Vitamin vitamin fabric production:
Generally, there is no affinity between the wall materials and the fibers of ordinary microcapsules. In order to make the microcapsules and fibers combine, it is necessary to add the fixing agent in the finishing process, which is the key process of finishing the fabric's durability.
The selected fixative must meet the following conditions. First, the fixing agent needs low formaldehyde and the curing process needs to be completed at low temperature, so that the microcapsule and fabric can be firmly combined.
In addition, after curing, it has good softness, and the fabric is not hard and has a good handle.
5. Determination of vitamins in skin care finishing fabrics
How to evaluate the content of vitamin C and vitamin E in skin care finishing fabrics, we need to find out the testing methods to effectively control the quality of skin care finishing fabrics.
After having invited the testing center of Chinese University and relevant professional inspection organizations and cooperation, after finding a lot of experiments, we finally found a simple and feasible detection method, which was pioneered in China.
(1) extraction of test components in fabrics
The fabric samples are cut and broken, weighing a certain quantity of samples, weighing the samples and cleaning containers.
Then the chopped fabric samples were placed in 95% ethanol and heated to 40 degrees. After shaking for 3 minutes, the samples were extracted for 48 hours and extracted by ultrasonic extractor.
(2) determination of vitamin C palmitate (ascorbate palmitate) in fabrics
The sample 0.800g extracted by ultrasonic extractor was added to the mixture of carbon dioxide water 50ml, chloroform 50ml and dilute sulphuric acid solution (ts-241) 25ml.
Immediately use 0.1mol/L iodine solution to titrate this mixture to ensure full shake.
The additional amount of starch solution (ts-235) was used as an indicator to titrate the endpoint.
0.1mol/L iodide per milliliter is equivalent to ascorbate palmitate (C22H38O7) 20.73mg.
The arithmetic mean of the parallel determination results is the result of the determination, and the absolute difference of the average measurement result is not more than 0.02%.
(3) determination of vitamin E content in fabrics
The samples extracted by ultrasonic extractor were tested according to the method of determination of vitamin A and vitamin E in foods GB/T 5009.82-2003.
Vitamin skin care finishing textiles have broad market prospects.
With the continuous development of people's awareness of health care, the concept of advocating nature and environmental protection is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. Now, not only overseas customers purchase a lot of skin care and finishing fabrics, but also such products in the domestic market are beginning to increase.
Health care textiles
The field meets the growing demand of consumers for health products.
