    So in 1989, with the cooperation of Roberto Ricci and his friend Roberto Bardini, RRD came into being in the Grosseto Grosseto of Tuscany, Italy, and the Maui Maui Island of Hawaii, the United States.

    RRD's first product is the windsurfing board, designed and produced all by hand, and gradually began to equip the world's top athletes.

    Subsequently, the company began designing and manufacturing surfing shorts and T T-shirts, and gradually expanded its business to the design, production and sales of technology sports apparel, combining the latest technology of textiles with strong Italian style to bring the dual experience of performance and beauty to sports fans all over the world.

    At present, the RRD business covers the development, design, production and sale of men's and technological sports apparel, as well as the development, design, production and sale of sports equipment such as surfing kites, surfing, windsurfing and other water sports.

    Today, about 85% of RRD's revenue comes from products sold locally in Italy.

    Since 2000, RRD has participated in the Pitti Immagine Uomo men's wear exhibition every year.

    In recent years, RRD has entered the German and Spanish markets, and opened about 200 brand integration stores in 2016, with good sales performance.

    In the future, RRD will strive to enhance product distribution in Asian markets, especially in Japan, China and South Korea in order to expand brand influence.

    RRD has opened an independent brand store in four cities in Italy, including Rome, Castiglioncello, Milano Marittima and Marina di Pietrasanta.

    In December 2015, the company brought the idea of surfing technology to South Africa, and opened a flagship store in Cape Town near Cape of Good Hope.

    Roberto Ricci said: "this flagship store in Cape Town can be regarded as the best embodiment of the blending of two cultures in Italy and Africa.

    For RRD, the tide of cultural blending has been growing and thrive since its founding.

    When the brand was founded, it was the fusion of Italy culture and Hawaii culture. Now African culture will also inject more vitality into our brand.

    Although the data have not yet been disclosed, RRD has shown full confidence in its sales performance in 2017 and expects sales to reach 22 million euros in the first half.

    Roberto Ricci stressed: "we will focus on promoting the development of wholesale channels to achieve a 25% increase in wholesale revenue during the year.

    In addition, we will also focus on the development of 2017/18 men's clothing in autumn and winter. In view of the advantages of lycra and wool fabrics and adopting the latest technology, this series of products will have super stretch elasticity, and we will shoot a lot of advertisements in South Africa.

    Of course, the most important development direction is women's clothing, because in the past two years, the sales of RRD brand women's clothing are almost equal to that of men's.
