This comparative test sample is purchased by the Beijing Association of consumers and staff members as an ordinary consumer from Tmall, Jingdong mall, Amazon, suning.com, Dangdang, No. 1 store, vip.com and other electronic business platforms and some physical stores. It involves 81 samples of 33 brands, and the purchase price ranges from 69.8 yuan to 1020.42 yuan.

With the improvement of living standards, sports fitness has become a part of the daily life of consumers, and consumers' demand for sports equipment is also improving. This also makes the "professional" grade sports jacket sell well.

Reporters entered Taobao net to enter tight fitting sportswear, and search for tens of thousands of items. Apart from various styles, the price difference of these products is relatively large. Some only need thirty yuan, while the price is more expensive than two thousand yuan.

In the propaganda of many businessmen, the reporter saw that this kind of tights not only claimed to have the characteristics of ordinary sports clothes, but also emphasized the functions of "supporting muscles, protecting muscles, supporting bones, reducing muscle vibration, slowing down fatigue and reducing injuries".

Wu Hailu, a consumer association of Beijing, said that according to the characteristics of tights, we also invited experts from relevant industries, including sports, medicine and clothing. We studied a relatively fair detection method for testing this product in Beijing Consumer Association.

So, what are the principles of "supporting bones and reducing injuries", which are claimed by these tight fitting sports clothes on the Internet? What causes the samples involved in this comparative test to have no obvious effect on these characteristics? With questions, we have interviewed the Beijing Chuang Chuang Testing Technology Service Co., Ltd., which is responsible for this testing task.

Experts told reporters that tight pressure is the most direct reflection of tights performance. Tight pressure refers to the pressure generated by clothing on the surface of human skin.

According to the publicity of the business, when the tight clothing is worn, if the pressure is moderate, it should play a role in reducing fatigue, enhancing physiological function, even protecting the muscles and improving the efficiency of exercise.

There are no specific national standards for tights at present. Therefore, the Beijing Association of consumers has organized experts to carry out the demonstration. Finally, the pressure sensors used widely at home and abroad are tested for clothing pressure test.

Laboratory inspectors use pressure sensors to measure the pressure of men's and women's wear parts.

Wu Zhongbo, a certified testing engineer, said that because the tights are top and bottom, then the upper and lower parts of the body are different from each other. Therefore, in view of this situation, we have chosen several representative test sites for the tops and bottoms, and then tested the pressure.

Now we are testing five parts for the upper garment, and then loading is also five parts.

It is because the human body is symmetrical, so the five points I choose are equivalent to an average of the final results of the five points on the left and the five points on the right, and then the final result is the test results.

In this comparative experiment, the 42 samples showed that they had "sports protection, muscle support, fatigue recovery, gradient compression, muscle strength" and other sports auxiliary functions in the publicity or tag marking.

The test results showed that the pressure distribution of various parts of the product was unequal, and the maximum pressure value of individual products was between 15-20mmHg, most of which was less than 10 mmHg, accounting for 74%.

So what is the concept of this value? Experts told reporters that for pressure clothing products, there is no targeted national standard, the standard of underwear for textile industry, and the "one molded underwear seamless underwear model" has a definite pressure on clothes. According to this standard, less than 7mmhg is about 7 to 13mmhg of medium pressure, and light pressure and medium pressure are all shaping effects on the human body.

That is to say, in order to achieve obvious protection of muscles and bones, the pressure should be at least 13mmhg or more.

However, experts stress that this standard is based on the function of shaping. If we want to achieve the function of "sports protection, muscle support, fatigue recovery, gradient compression, and muscle strength", such pressure is not enough.

Judging from the results of this comparative test, many sports tights that claim to have "solid support, package protection" and other functions are relatively small.

The short sleeves of men's sports, known as fan stric, purchased in the Jingdong mall, clearly indicate that products can provide "support according to the muscle sequence and package pressure on key parts", and from the data point of view, the maximum pressure value of the product is at the waist, 2.3mmgh, and the upper arm pressure value is 0.

Also from the Jingdong mall, the LP, the man's core stabilizers, claimed that the shoulder muscles were properly pressurized by the shoulder. The reporter found that the maximum pressure of the product was at the waist, 2.7mmgh, and the shoulder pressure was only 1.2mmgh.

Wang Zhi, an adviser to the expert committee of China knitwear industry association, said, for example, when we use conventional belts, when you are doing gravity work, you should wear a belt around your waist. When you lift the weight, the lumbar vertebrae will not be easily damaged. If the pressure is small, you will not be able to protect it. You must be big enough to protect yourself, so the belt is very big.

In addition, sports medicine experts also pointed out that the protection of the human body is not the greater the pressure of tight fitting sportswear.

Experts told reporters that the pressure of tight fitting sportswear comes from the spandex component in the fabric.

The amount of spandex directly determines the pressure of this tight fitting sportswear.

Spandex is actually a common fiber component and is now widely used in the textile industry.

Most of the tight fitting sportswear samples did not reach the declared effect in this test. What is the quality of these clothes as a common sports wear?

In lab reporters, the inspectors first detected the moisture absorption and quick drying performance of these sportswear tags and web publicity.

Cao Yuansen, a certified engineer, said that according to the national standard, moisture absorption and quick drying were divided into five experiments: hygroscopicity and quick drying. Among them, there were three experiments in terms of hygroscopicity, water diffusing time, water absorption rate and core suction height. Then two experiments were carried out for quick drying, evaporation rate and moisture permeability.

Only when five indexes are met can the requirements of moisture absorption and quick drying be satisfied.

The tester tested the fabric dripping and diffusion project, that is, taking the same size fabric on different samples, dropping water drops on the fabric, and then timing.

According to the standard, if the water droplet can not spread within three seconds, it shows that the product does not meet the standard requirements.

In the same way, the test personnel also made the moisture content test, that is, put the sample into the moist environment from the dry environment, and after a certain period of time, determine the amount of water absorbed by the sample.

Cao Yuansen, a certified testing engineer, said that clothes that absorb moisture and dry clothes can be kept dry and cool when they wear them. If we wear a lot of sweat in clothing, clothes can absorb sweat quickly and spread to the outer surface of clothing, thus evaporating into the atmosphere, so that we will feel comfortable.

If it is the plain clothes, not the clothes that absorb moisture and dry quickly, it will feel that a lot of sweat can not spread quickly on the body when they are dressed.

It will feel stuffy, humid and uncomfortable to wear.

Of the 81 samples tested, 59 samples showed moisture absorption, quick drying or hygroscopic and quick drying functions in publicity or tag publicity. After testing, 40 samples, including Adidas, Andrea and Higgins, did not meet the standard requirements, accounting for 68% of the sample number.

Among them, only 4 samples showed hygroscopicity, 3 did not meet the standard requirements; only 21 samples were expressly dried, and 10 did not meet the standard requirements; 34 samples were clearly indicated for moisture absorption and quick drying, and 27 did not meet the standard requirements.

In the comparative experiment, we found that although 5 samples were not clearly labeled "hygroscopic and quick drying", similar functional descriptions such as "breathable, fast perspiration, quick drying and dry" were tagged in the webpage publicity. Therefore, during the comparison test, the moisture absorption and quick drying properties of the products were detected, of which 3 did not meet the requirements specified in the standard.

Experts believe that tight fitting sportswear is a popular new clothing category. If quality problems can be solved better, it will become a new category of rich consumer market and enrich the shopping basket of consumers.
