Chief Executive Officer Of Brazil Santos Port Authority Visits China Cotton Association

Mr. Casemiro T rcio Carvalho, chief executive officer of Santos Port, Brazil, visited the China Cotton Association in the afternoon of September 10th. Brazil Santos port is located in St Paul, the largest trade port in Brazil, and the main port of shipment for the export of cotton in Brazil. Mr. Carvalho introduces that the RFID cargo tracing system will be launched at its port, which will enhance the timeliness and transparency of the freight transport process, and express its willingness to provide good and reliable port services for Chinese textile enterprises and cotton traders. Wang Jianhong, Secretary General of China Cotton Association, said that Brazil is a major cotton producing and exporting country and a major cotton importer in China. By improving port efficiency and shortening Brazil's cotton transportation time, Brazil cotton will be more competitive. The two sides said they would strengthen cooperation to provide better services for the cotton trade between the two countries.
