In 2017, according to the principle of "membership participation and voluntary declaration", top 100 enterprises in China's apparel industry ranked the three indicators of product sales revenue, gross profit and sales profit margin respectively.

There are 131 enterprises in the country, including 35 in Jiangsu, 30 in Zhejiang, 16 in Shandong, 8 in Beijing and Shanghai, 6 in Guangdong and Shaanxi, 5 in Fujian, 3 in Sichuan, 2 in 2, and 1 in each.

The total sales revenue of the "100% sales of products" amounted to 657 billion 293 million yuan, an increase of 12.53% over the same period last year, accounting for 30.01% of the sales revenue of Enterprises above Designated Size and 5.26 percentage points higher than that of 2016. The total profits of 100 enterprises totaled 51 billion 790 million yuan, representing an increase of 16.71% over the same period last year, accounting for 40.98% of the total profits of Enterprises above Designated Size, and 8.46 percentage points higher than that in 2016. The sales profit rate of the top 100 enterprises was 11.16%, an increase of 0.02 percentage points over 2016, and 5.39 percentage points higher than the average sales profit rate of Enterprises above designated size.

From the specific indicators, in 2017, the number of top 100 enterprises in the "product sales revenue" exceeded 650 million yuan, 8.2% higher than that in 2016; the total number of hundred enterprises of "total profit" exceeded 30 million yuan, an increase of 12.16% over 2016.

At the same time, the total sales revenue and profit of the top 10 companies continued to grow, up 14.56% and 14.24% respectively from the same period last year, and the sales revenue of eleventh to fiftieth enterprises increased by 10.35% over the same period last year, while the total profit growth rate reached 21.42%, which was 11.06 percentage points higher than the sales revenue growth rate.
