According to the women's wear daily, Louis Vuitton, the creative director of the new men's clothing Virgil Abloh, launched the first series of 2019 spring and summer men's clothing for the first time in the brand shop in January 18th. It was first sold at the Tokyo flash store, and the income of men's clothing before 48 hours, 2019 spring and summer was 30% higher than that of the Louis Vuitton x Supreme series.
In 2017, the Louis Vuitton x Supreme joint series was also on sale at the flash store. It was first sold exclusively in the flash shops of eight cities in Paris, London, Miami, Losangeles, Tokyo, Beijing, Seoul and Sydney. In the interview with women's wear daily, Louis Vuitton's CEO Michael Burke attributed the gratifying sales performance of the latest men's wear series to the consumer's "pure undoped desire" and said that consumers' demand for ready-made clothes, white leather shorts, pparent and rainbow colored handbags was strong.
According to Burke, the Tokyo flash shop can buy all the products of 2019 men's clothing in spring and summer, although there is no special marketing and advertising, but there are about 1000 customers queuing up before the first day of sale, hoping to become the first consumers with the latest Louis Vuitton men's clothing.
However, the Tokyo flash store is not the first flash store to launch Abloh's first series. In October 2018, Louis Vuitton has opened a flash store in London and Shanghai. Next week, it will open a flash store in New York. The first day is only 200 consumers invited.
