To Curb The Spread Of Counterfeit Shoes, Nike Will Update Its Footwear Logo From 2019.
In January 21st, @Lynux, founder of NexusRetro, a shoe shoe community, said in twitter that Nike would update the shoe code logo from 2019, in order to contain the spread of counterfeit shoes. Each pair of shoes will have its own unique identity card, and the tongue and shoe boxes will mark ID and two-dimensional code.
In December 2015, Nike Sports China Limited reported to Bengbu police in Anhui that they found a large number of sneakers that counterfeited their brand in some markets in the Middle East.
In December 2018, the Anhui police cracked the largest counterfeit sneakers in the country and concentrated on destroying 500 thousand pairs of 600 million fake shoes.
