Jingdong UAV First Flew China Logistics UAV For Its First Overseas Flight

At the annual meeting of the world economic forum, the East Group announced that Jingdong's logistics UAV successfully achieved its first flight in Indonesia, the first successful flight of China's logistics UAV overseas.

It is understood that the completion of the first flight in Indonesia, Jingdong UAV has now carried out normalization operations in 8 provinces of China, with a mileage of over 120 thousand km.

In addition, the national public service UAV rescue team, established by the Jingdong UAV, was formally established in May 2018. In July last year, the rainstorm occurred in Beijing during the flood season. Jingdong has deployed UAVs to assist the government in carrying out disaster investigation and emergency supplies pportation, and assisting fire officers and soldiers in on-site rescue.

Indonesia is also the first stop of Jingdong group's overseas strategy.

Since the operation of Jingdong Indonesia station in March 2016, Jingdong's goods in Indonesia have developed to 19 categories and 127 sub categories, SKU exceeds 350 thousand, and services exceed 20 million users, creating more than 4000 jobs.

Most of the products sold in Jingdong Indonesia are stored in their own warehouses. The distribution service covers 7 major islands, 483 cities and 6500 districts and counties. With more warehouses being put into use, 85% of the orders can be received within 1 days.
