    Giorgio Armani, A Luxury Brand, Has Made Major Changes To The Flagship Store In New York.

    Giorgio Armani announced that it will make major changes to its flagship store, 760 Madison Avenue, New York.

    In addition to refurbishing the store, there will be 19 new luxury houses designed by Giorgio Armani, the founder of the brand and Italy fashion designer.

    The project will be led by SL Green Realty Corp. (hereinafter referred to as SL Green) and completed with Giorgio Armani group.

    SL Green, the largest office developer in New York, has been the owner of the building since 2012.

    New York construction company Cookfox will be responsible for the architectural design of the project.

    According to the world clothing and shoe net, the project will extend the original four square floor building of 16 thousand square feet (1486 square meters) to 97 thousand square feet (9000 square meters) building.

    The bottom two floors of the building are refurbished Giorgio Armani flagship retail boutique, which is almost the same size as the refurbishment. There will be 19 new luxury apartments upstairs, and Mr. Giorgio Armani herself will operate the room.

    The pformation project is expected to commence in 2020 and completed in 2023.

    As the project is located in the Upper East Side Historic District, we need the approval of the Landmark Preservation Commission.

    Developers have hired Greenberg Traurig and other historical protection consultants and planning consultants to assist in the examination and approval.

    This special project has continued my journey in Armani/Casa interior design studio, where I am looking for innovative ideas to express my personal understanding of luxury and refinement while respecting the local culture and spirit.

    Rick Cook, head of Cookfox, said that refurbishing the flagship store is a challenge because the retail industry itself is changing and needs to cater to the changing needs of consumers.

    He said: "Mr. Giorgio Armani is thinking about how to improve the retail experience, which is the core of the whole project.

    He hopes to make this flagship store beyond the meaning of the store itself.
