Milan Fashion Week Versace: Perfection And Return

Milan, Italy -- do you know the word "big or go home"?

There is another sentence: "can't you go home again?"

Donatella Versace is the kind of woman who wants everything.

Last week's conference proved that she went home and went back to her roots to hold them high.

The safety pin that dominates the cloud dominates her T station.

Donatella looks great in front of these show devices. "We live on Instagram," she whispered in a preview of the day earlier.

Donatella may be well versed in social media, but she is also a true believer in real fashion products.

That is to say, this conference is the key.

After Frederic Sanchez stayed in other places for a few years, she returned to the circle and made soundtracks to blend the nirvana band with the electronic music. Donatella's luxury and garbage rock concept were heard in her ears.

But she herself has become the DJ of the fashion industry, reintegrating her past elements and creating a new form of musicians creating new voices.

This is enough to make you wonder why more designers have not learned anything from her book, have taken a long, serious look at the success of the past, and given them a contemporary perspective.

It works here because it makes people feel insane.

Like the January men's wear show, thousands of pieces were displayed at the press conference: fabric, texture and color confront each other in gorgeous confusion, but they constitute a coherent, anomalous and irresistible proposal.

Well, maybe not as coherent as January, but even that may seem to be a real priority.

Outside a gray green cashmere sweater with a jewel safety pin, there is a hint of red lace on the waist of a python patterned pencil skirt. A fox fur shawl cling to the throat of model Fran Summers looks very tempting. There must be a consensus in the fashion world: every season, some models wear the best costumes when they go to the show. I dare say that Fran and Adut Akech are the focus of the 2019 autumn fashion show.

This kind of modeling has some exquisite and sensational things, and the same quality has been injected into the whole series: silk satin dress with fluorescent lace stockings, or not with them, instead of the harness; the same waist tunic; the wide coat has hidden many evils; and Adut is wearing gorgeous golden mesh with some peculiar Red Lace bottoms.

Donatella also projected her figure on the T-shirt, which reproduced the advertisement of Richard Avedon for perfume golden hair in 1995.

She also copied the printing of Lalique perfume bottles.

Can't you go home again?

That's not the truth.

You can't escape your past.

The strength of Donatella's new work lies in the way she readily accepts it, and she deals with all the thorny propositions in life with love, fearlessness, and equally boring wisdom.

This is a very convincing proposition. At the end of the fashion show, the appearance of Stephanie Seymour made this proposition even more convincing, as Donatella said, "those women are there, and here is one of them, right here, now, still active."
