Recently, the Chengdu Consumers Association announced the results of the comparative test of 30 infant textile products sold on the Chengdu market and network platform.

It is understood that the comparative test samples by the Chengdu Consumers Association staff as consumers, through the network channels and offline stores to make random purchases.

The sample amounts to 30, and the purchase price ranges from 28 yuan to 899 yuan.

The test indicators are mainly consumer information, harmful substances, health and safety aspects of products.

The content of safety heavy metal and formaldehyde meet the requirements.

After testing, the fiber content, decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dye, heavy metal content (cadmium and lead), formaldehyde content, pH value, water fastness, dry / wet rubbing fastness, pH value (washing), dry / wet rubbing color fastness (washing) and other indicators of the 30 products all conform to the national standard requirements.

An infant and kimono accessory does not meet the requirement. The reason is that "the rope at the waist is beyond the bottom of the garment".

The relevant staff said that the attachment refers to the components of textile products that are connected, decorated, identified or other functions. If the attachment does not meet the standard requirements, it may cause harm to infants and young children.

Only 1 samples of color fastness are not up to standard.

Reporters learned that color fastness, including water fastness, sweat stain fastness, dry wet rubbing color fastness and color fastness to wash (soap) color fastness of goods in the process of use, easy to fade, affecting the appearance of products, and dye may also soaking into the skin of infants and young children through sweat, and infants and young children's physical function is not perfect, for the invasion of chemical substances can not be eliminated in time, the body may be exposed to chemical substances in the dye.

In the comparative test, only 1 of the "MUCMUKN" Knit Shorts, which were resistant to saliva color fastness and sweat stain fastness, did not meet the requirements of the national standard, and the remaining 29 met the standard requirements.

"We suggest that infant clothes should be washed and worn again after washing. After washing, the pH value is generally higher than that of the original sample pH and tends to be more neutral.

Chengdu association staff reminds parents that when buying baby textiles, they should pay attention to matters: "three wants". First, we should pay attention to see the instructions for use of products (that is, product tags), do not buy products that are rough in product packaging, incomplete in product labels, not standardized and inaccurate in infants and young children's textile products; two, we must pay attention to the use of special detergent after cleaning and reuse; three, we should pay attention to the preservation of shopping vouchers, and in the event of consumer disputes, we can complain to the consumer associations and market supervision departments of the operators.
