According to the information from Fujian Provincial Bureau of industry and commerce, in 2018, our province's textile industry maintained a steady and rapid growth, and the sales value increased by 11.7% over the same period last year, of which Quanzhou increased by 14.9%, Fuzhou increased by 8.2%, and Putian increased by 20.5%.

It is reported that as of now, the scale of the textile industry in the province is over 700 billion yuan, ranking fifth in the country, and has formed a complete industrial chain and industrial cluster development pattern of chemical fiber, spinning, weaving, dyeing and finishing, clothing and textile machinery.

Among them, chemical fiber production capacity of about 850 tons, ranking third in the country; cotton spinning spindles about 13 million spindles, ranking sixth in the country.

It is understood that in recent years, seven wolves, gifted costumes, Changyuan textile, Jingwei new fiber technology and other 7 enterprises were selected by the Ministry of industry to focus on tracking and cultivating textile and garment brand enterprises.

The Ministry of industry and Commerce has also actively organized trade associations and key enterprises such as textile and footwear industries to carry out project docking in Youxi and Changting, so as to promote the docking and integration of Quanzhou and Sanming textile industries and key enterprises, and promote the advanced production processes and sewage treatment technologies such as Fu Da Guang photocatalytic sewage treatment technology to popularize and apply the Shishi printing and dyeing gathering area, and speed up the pformation of industrial technology achievements.

In addition, the textile enterprises such as huafai dress, Zheng Lin Gao, Longfeng textile and other textile enterprises have further accelerated the implementation of the intelligent manufacturing demonstration pilot project. Jingfeng science and technology annual output of 200 thousand tons of differential functional fiber projects, and the annual production of 110 thousand hundred tons of super fiber imitation polyester polyester filament production project has become a demonstration project of the provincial intelligent manufacturing template factory.
