The General Administration Of Customs Has Released Nearly 40% Of Imported Baby Products.

In the follow-up inspection of statutory inspection of imported goods, spot checks on commodities from 52 countries or regions, such as Japan, Vietnam, South Korea, and other countries, were conducted. The main commodities included: baby clothing, baby textile products, toys and food contact products.

A total of 1549 batches were selected, and the sampling rate was 7.7%.

Among them, the imported children textile products sampling failed rate of 38.4%, imported children clothing and toys failed rate of 8.4% and 7.4%, imported food contact products failed rate of 2.9%.

On the spot inspection of commodities outside the statutory inspection list, a total of 67 imported countries or regions, such as Japan, Vietnam and Korea, were selected for the implementation of the key spot checks. The key commodities were inspecting and inspecting the commodities exported to 78 trade countries or regions such as the United States, Germany and Japan.

Spot checks include: imported baby clothing and textile products, functional clothing, denim clothing, stationery, food / tableware detergents, condoms, automotive brake liners, rice cookers, air purifiers, electronic toilets, etc.; export LED lighting source, holiday lights string, charging treasure, power adapter, simulation accessories, toys, footwear and so on.

Among them, 1153 batches of unqualified imported samples were detected. The number of unqualified batches accounted for 22.7% of the total number of imported batches. The number of unqualified batches accounted for 20.4% of the total volume of the export batch.

The electronic diskettles which are not qualified for spot checks are not qualified for electrical safety. According to the evaluation results, the rapid response measures such as withdrawal, destruction, and technical treatment were taken according to the evaluation results. At the same time, tracing and checking the common problems of similar commodities were strengthened, and the legitimate rights and interests of consumers were effectively protected.
