World Textile And Apparel Supply Chain Conference Hu Zhiming City Summit Held In Vietnam

2019 the global textile and apparel supply chain conference? The Hu Zhiming City Summit was held in, Vietnam, from April 10th to 11. More than 200 textile and apparel entrepreneurs from China, Vietnam, Germany and the United States have been talking about the collaborative development of global textile and apparel supply chain through keynote speeches, visits and exchanges.

Sun Ruizhe, President of China Textile Industry Federation, made the keynote speech entitled "sustainable development of textile and garment industry - regional cooperation to tackle global challenges". He said that China's textile and clothing industry has become an important engine for the development of regional industries, an important industrial platform for promoting global responsibility governance and an important contributor to the development of China's national economy. At present, the environment of textile and garment industry is undergoing structural changes. The instability and uncertainty of the world economy, the deepening of global innovation, the rapid development of digital trade, and the regional distribution of supply chain have become an important trend. Responsibility development has become a global consensus. Under the new situation, there are also new changes in China's textile and apparel supply chain. The supply chain is changing to the consumer driven type, the manufacturing link has become the value center, the channel has been developing towards integration and socialization, and the green and environmental factors have been integrated into every aspect of the textile chain and the international cooperation has been deepened.

Sun Ruizhe believes that under the new situation, the Sino Vietnamese textile and garment industry's cooperation and win-win path should focus on coordination, open development, take science and technology as the core, innovate development, and take responsibility as the guide and green development.

The chairman of Vietnam textile and Garment Association, as the theme of "sustainable development of Vietnam's textile and garment industry", introduces the development of Vietnam's textile and garment industry. He said that at present, Vietnamese clothing enterprises have the advantages of good labor structure, low cost, and export policies, but at the same time there are also challenges such as inadequate development and large dependence on raw materials. He spoke highly of the conference and held that the conference provided important opportunities for raw material suppliers, textile and garment processing enterprises to understand the development trend of the industry, tap the market potential and integrate into the global supply chain.

During the meeting, as China's first responsible investment guide based on the life cycle of overseas investment, the guidelines on responsible overseas investment in China's textile and garment industry were officially released. According to the guide, adhering to the development concept of innovation, coordination, green, openness and sharing, the guidelines emphasize the responsible corporate behavior of China's textile and garment industry in the stage of overseas investment evaluation, investment implementation and investment exit, which can help industry enterprises better integrate into the global value chain and investment destination, and finally contribute positively to the construction of human destiny community and the realization of the UN 2030 sustainable development goal in the global scope.

The conference also awarded the "China ASEAN textile and garment industry Synergy Development Award" to Huafu fashion Limited by Share Ltd, Swiss Textile Inspection Co., Ltd., WWF in Vietnam, Haig investment limited liability company and other enterprises and institutions.
