This picture is a blockbuster shot in Kenya. I designed this red dress. It was one of our African series, and the black guy next to it was the local aborigine. When we asked him to come and shoot with us today, I was shocked when the young man appeared.

When I was designing the African series, I did not do research on African minority clothes. It was based on African films I read when I was young, and I read books about Africa, but they are so similar in the dark.

So I think sometimes there are cultural similarities, universal aesthetics and culture, which is the common ground of human nature.

We need not fear that this will lose our national character.

This dress, the handicraft we use, is a Chinese knot, and the garment it just made is both a sense of Africa and an elegant style of colonial culture.

I think the African series, you see a lot of completely irrelevant elements, but can be well integrated, so we do not have to worry about whether the national will become the world.

Pursue beauty for yourself
