Although more than half a century has passed, in the Qingdao textile industry with a hundred years of development history, the "Hao Jianxiu group" is still a famous brand.

From an ordinary textile worker to the director of the provincial women's Federation and then to the vice chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, Hao Jianxiu is a landmark figure in the textile industry of Qingdao.

Qingdao textile industry, which originated in 1902, is one of the important textile bases in China. It was born at the turn of the century and grew up in the troubled times. It accumulated in the construction period and matured in reform and opening up.

In the past more than 100 years, it has promoted Qingdao's early economic construction and is known as "mother industry".

Jiang Ling, deputy curator of Qingdao Textile Museum, warmly told the Chinese women's Daily China Women net reporter that in the course of a hundred years, Qingdao textile has supported the backbone of Qingdao's national industry.

Hao Jianxiu, an excellent representative of textile workers, brings the spirit of "innovation and struggle" and "selfless dedication" to all walks of life and becomes the soul of Qingdao.

Her "old ox spirit, hard struggle spirit, diligent study spirit and reform spirit" once became the common wealth of the national textile workers in the early days of new China.

Jiang Ling said that although Hao Jianxiu has been away from Qingdao for many years, she has always been the pride of Qingdao.

The Hao Jianxiu work law popularized nationwide

In recent summer, visitors to Qingdao Textile Museum visited.

An old machine, an old picture, tells every visitor the story that happened in that era.

In 1949, Qingdao national cotton six factory recruited, 13 year old Hao Jianxiu and aunt Hao Dongmei of the same age to sign up together, did not expect, two people were hired at the same time, were also assigned to the spinning workshop as a truck driver.

"The purpose of going to work is very simple, that is, I want to earn more money to support my family."

Years later, Hao Dongmei said in an interview with the media that they were the youngest in the factory at that time, but earned less money than anyone else.

"As a single connector of the truck is a technical activity. Once the cotton thread is not properly connected, it will become white or cause the roller to spend more, which will directly affect the quality of the product."

Jiang Ling pointed to a yarn machine that Hao Jianxiu worked in that year told reporters, "the work of the workers in the factory every day to do the assessment, the standard is to weigh the weight per person clear out of the roll flower weight, the more the roll flower, which means the yarn production is lower."

When he first entered the factory, Hao Jianxiu, who was only 13 years old, could not find the skills of working. He was criticized for several days.

Once, because the roller was overweight, Hao Jianxiu began to cry. She said to her aunt, "I don't want to drag my legs behind, I must push the technology up."

Since then, Hao Jianxiu has been thinking about spinning and spinning yarn every day.

When she came home from work, she would paint and paint on the little book. She would take the new idea to the workshop on the second day, and she would also pay special attention to the old worker as a teacher.

With a stubborn temper that he did not concede, in less than 3 years, Hao Jianxiu finally grasped the performance and operation rules of spinning wheel, and worked out a set of working methods of high yield, high quality and low consumption for many spinning and weaving.

In 7 months, the average rate of spinning of the spinning roller is only 0.25%, and Hao Jianxiu, 16, has set up a new record, which is 1/6 of the average cotton roller rate in the cotton textile industry of that time.

Zhou Jiaxiu, who has been retired for many years, is a squad leader of the class six spinning workshop of the national cotton company. The old man can still recite: "work initiative, plan with hands, do cross work with each other, divide work lightly, and do a good job of cleaning."

These are the "secrets" of Hao Jianxiu's work method.

Soon, Hao Jianxiu's good technology of joining, wasting and cleaning rods aroused the attention of the former Ministry of textile industry and the president of the national textile union Chen Shaomin.

In June 1951, the National Federation of textile workers and experts set up a research group to observe, measure, analyze and study Hao Jianxiu's joint action, connection time, cleaning time and sequence of action, and summed up a set of "spinning work method".

In 1952, at the national textile system conference, this method was officially named "Hao Jianxiu work method".

The former Ministry of textile industry and the national textile Union issued a directive calling on textile enterprises across the country to generally learn and popularize the "Hao Jianxiu spinning work law".

Her experience has been widely promoted throughout the country, and it can produce more than 44 thousand cotton yarn per year for the country, equivalent to 4 million cotton for one year.

On the eve of May 1, in 1952, under the influence of Hao Jianxiu, the sisters of Hao Jianxiu's group, in carrying out patriotic production and thrift activities, took the lead to the national cotton textile enterprises' production teams and issued the challenge of increasing production and saving and increasing wealth for the country. They got the battle of 457 teams, including Shanghai, Tianjin, Beijing, Wuxi, Hangzhou, Wuhan, Chongqing, Guangzhou, Ji'nan, Shijiazhuang, and northeast, northwest, Shijiazhuang, Subei, and so on, and set off a climax of the "red May" labor competition that had spread across the whole country's textile industry and affected all walks of life in the whole country.

The promotion of activities has greatly promoted the comprehensive promotion of Hao Jianxiu's work method and made a significant contribution to the recovery and development of the new China's national economy. For this reason, her team was called the "Hao Jianxiu group".

In June 1953, the Hao Jianxiu group wrote to Chairman Mao Zedong and reported the group's launching of the "red May" labor competition.

In July of that year, President Mao Zedong sent the central office to reply to the "Hao Jianxiu group", encouraging the group to "further unite and study hard, strengthen labor discipline, improve the quality of production, and strive for a higher record of production".

In the same year, at the first national textile worker Model Convention held by the Ministry of industry, the Hao Jianxiu group was awarded the golden banner of "always playing the role of the locomotive".

"Hao Jianxiu group" is like a locomotive, while participating in economic development, it has also trained a number of outstanding women cadres.

In April 1975, the sixth Shandong provincial women's Congress was held in Ji'nan. Hao Jianxiu was elected director of the provincial women's Federation.

In addition to Hao Jianxiu, director of the Shandong women's Federation, the "Hao Jianxiu group" has also walked out of a city women's Federation Chairman Mu Mei Mei, the Executive Committee of women's congresses at all levels, 4 representatives, 1 National 38 red flag leaders, and 1 national women workers.

As the ninth leader of the group, Jiang Ling has won the title of the national female worker's contribution and the sixth Qingdao city's ten greatest actress.
