Reducing electricity prices in provinces

In May 15th, the national development and Reform Commission issued a notice on reducing the price of general industrial and commercial electricity, and proposed to adopt the second batch of measures to reduce the general industrial and commercial electricity price in order to implement the requirements of the government work report on the reduction of 10% of the general industrial and commercial average electricity price.

It is understood that the second batch of price reduction measures mainly start from four aspects: the national major water conservancy project construction fund is halved; after the value-added tax rate and the depreciation rate of the fixed assets of the power grid are reduced, the transmission price of the trans provincial special projects will be reduced; the non market electricity generation part of the hydropower stations and the nuclear power plants (except the three generation units) will be adjusted to lower the value added tax rate; the scale of the general industrial and commercial users will be actively involved in the electricity market transaction, and the electricity consumption will be further reduced through the market mechanism.

Among them, the Henan provincial development and Reform Commission issued the notice on the second reduction of electricity prices for industrial and commercial users and other users in 2019. The average price of electricity and other users in Henan is reduced by 4.21 points per kilowatt hour, which is expected to reduce the annual electricity consumption by 3 billion 382 million yuan.

The Chongqing development and Reform Commission issued the circular on further lowering the price of general industrial and commercial electricity. Since July 1, 2019, it has reduced the sales price and transmission and distribution price of Chongqing's general industrial and commercial single use electricity, reducing 3.83 points per kilowatt hour. This year's two price reduction is expected to reduce the electricity tariff of Chongqing enterprises by 1 billion 266 million yuan per year.

Jiangxi announced that since July 1st, the national standard for the construction of major water conservancy projects in electricity prices has been reduced to 0.15525 points per kilowatt hour. The electricity and electricity prices of general electricity and other electricity categories in Jiangxi power grid have been reduced by 4.93 points per kilowatt hour, and the transmission and distribution price has been reduced by 4.77 points per kilowatt hour. It is reported that the annual burden on Jiangxi industrial and commercial enterprises will be reduced by about 1 billion 800 million yuan.

The Hubei provincial development and Reform Commission has issued a circular that it will reduce the general electricity and electricity consumption and other electricity consumption prices in Hubei province by 0.067 yuan / kWh from July 1, 2019, and it is expected to reduce 2 billion 271 million yuan for the market participants.

In addition, the Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission has announced that Beijing will further reduce the electricity tariff of general industrial and commercial users in the whole city (except the low time period) 2.63 minutes / kWh, and reduce the general industrial and commercial and other users' transmission and distribution price by 2.02 minutes / kWh from July 1, 2019. It is estimated that the annual electricity tariff of general industrial and commercial users will be reduced by 1 billion 16 million yuan on the basis of a reduction of 469 million yuan in May 1st.

Lighten up more than ten billion yuan

In addition, since July 1, 2019, electricity prices in general industrial and commercial sectors and other electricity categories in Jiangsu have decreased by 4.15 points per kilowatt hour.
