China'S Textile And Clothing Exports Increased By 22.46% In May 2019.

According to the latest statistics of the General Administration of Customs of China, in May 2019, the export volume of textiles and clothing was 23 billion 831 million US dollars, an increase of 22.46%, an increase of 1.65% over the same period last year.

Among them, exports of textiles (including textile yarns, fabrics and articles) amounted to US $11 billion 644 million, an increase of 3.55% over the same period last year, and exports of garments (including garments and accessories) were US $12 billion 187 million, a decrease of 0.11% over the same period last year.

In 2019 1-5, the total export volume of textiles and clothing in China was 99 billion 589 million US dollars, down 2.88% from the same period last year. The total export volume of textiles was 48 billion 312 million US dollars, up 1.41% over the same period last year. The total export volume of garments was 51 billion 277 million US dollars, down 6.60% from the same period last year.
