At the meeting, the expert group listened to the report of the project team, reviewed relevant information, and seriously studied the Zhangjiagang textile industry index compilation plan. After discussion, the expert group affirmed the plan and put forward the argumentation, and agreed to pass the demonstration.


The expert group agreed that the plan is well designed, reasonable in structure and scientific in methodology. It is innovative and operable. Based on the development of textile industry and the actual situation of Zhangjiagang textile industry, a comprehensive price index, prosperity, industrial development index and data platform are set up, which fully reflects the dynamics of textile industry in Zhangjiagang and the price, prosperity and industrial change trend of textile raw materials. It provides effective information support for the textile enterprise's management decisions, and plays an active supporting role for the relevant government departments to do a good job in market regulation.


Moreover, for the first time, in the context of the transformation of China's economy to high quality development, the scheme is combined with the new orientation of "technology, fashion and green" in China's textile industry to build an index system to measure the quality and ability of textile industry development. It is reported that the index is jointly prepared by the China Textile Industry Federation, the Ministry of information technology of China Textile Industry Federation, China Textile Network Information Technology Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Zhangjiagang industry and Information Bureau, and Zhangjiagang Textile Industry Association of Jiangsu province. The index system includes three categories: Zhangjiagang price index, Zhangjiagang prosperity index and Zhangjiagang textile industry development index. Among them, the Zhangjiagang price index reflects the fluctuation of domestic product prices and export prices of key products in Zhangjiagang cluster enterprises; Zhangjiagang prosperity index reflects the prosperity of production and operation of the main business entities such as Zhangjiagang clusters; Zhangjiagang industrial development index reflects the industrial development level of Zhangjiagang cluster enterprises.
