    Temperature and humidity are strongly related to fiber strength, and humidity is more closely related to fiber strength. The influence of humidity on the strength of various fibers is different. When the relative humidity is 60% to 70%, the strength of cotton fiber is increased by 50% than that in dry condition. The influence of temperature on fiber strength is very small. When the temperature rises 1 degrees, the strength of cotton fiber is reduced by 0.3%.

    In the spinning process of spinning before winding, the characteristics of temperature and humidity control are as follows:

    One

    The relative humidity requirement of opening and cleaning process is relatively small, which is conducive to loosening the cotton block into small cotton bundles and removing impurities, but not too small, so as not to cause fiber brittle fracture and short staple increase. The relative humidity of general cotton spinning should be controlled to 55%.

    Two

    The relative humidity of the carding process should be slightly lower than that of the opening and cleaning process. In this way, a small amount of moisture is released in the carding workshop to make the fiber appear wet and dry to facilitate combing, and the relative humidity is generally 53%.

    Three

    The coarse process requires relatively large relative humidity, so the fiber has good electrical conductivity and normal arrangement, so that the evenness of the evenness is good. The relative humidity should be controlled to about 60%.

    Four

    The spinning process requires a relative humidity ratio and a coarse procedure to keep the roving in the spinning workshop to keep the moisture state and is conducive to drafting. The humidity will cause the friction force of the yarn and twisting piece to increase and the breakage rate to increase. It will also roll around the cots and the rollers. If the humidity is too small, the cotton fibers will be scattered and the flying flowers will increase. General spinning process relative humidity should be controlled to about 55%.
