Jingdong Logistics And International Supply Chain Giant Llamasoft Reached Strategic Cooperation
On August 14th, Jingdong logistics and international supply chain giant LLamasoft reached a strategic cooperation today to provide one-stop supply chain optimization solutions for businesses.
Statistics show that LLamasoft is a comprehensive supply chain service platform integrating supply chain network optimization, inventory optimization and simulation. At present, it has established long-term cooperation with Ford, Unilever, PepsiCo, farmer spring, Johnson and other domestic and international leading enterprises.
Jingdong logistics value supply chain business department was established in late 2017, according to different channels and operation scenarios of partners, customized algorithm and model development, and integrated open business flow. Both sides agree on the idea of improving supply chain efficiency through technology.
According to Yang Haifeng, director of Jingdong logistics value supply chain, Jingdong logistics will work with LLamasoft strategy to provide one-stop supply chain optimization solutions to businesses, so that the logistics costs of businesses will be reduced by more than 10%.
The media is informed that at present, Jingdong logistics has 12 categories, and more than 170 functional modules can be applied to different links of partners. At the same time, the value supply chain has already served hundreds of businesses, among which the larger scale businesses have already used the value supply chain to save about 40 million yuan of logistics cost each year.
Recently, the good news of Jingdong logistics continues to spread. Jingdong CEO Liu Qiangdong recently revealed in the 2019 Q2 earnings conference call that Jingdong logistics has achieved breakeven after years of layouts. Jingdong logistics lost more than 2 billion 300 million yuan in 2018, and has lost 12 consecutive years.
