The export volume of more than 700 textile and garment export enterprises in the city amounted to 4 billion 827 million yuan, up 12% compared with the same period last year. This is based on the steady growth of three, 2016, 2017 and 2018 consecutive years, and the fourth half of the year achieved a "four consecutive increase". This marks a breakthrough in the overall upgrading of Yantai's textile and garment industry in the new situation. Textiles and clothing are mainly exported to Korea, Japan, the United States, Europe and the United States and "all along the way" countries.

Total assets: textile, clothing and accessories, chemical fiber total 15 billion 522 million yuan, an increase of 1.2% over the same period. Among them, the textile industry was 2 billion 314 million yuan, down compared with the same period last year; the clothing and apparel industry was 7 billion 989 million yuan, an increase of 9% over the same period last year; the chemical fiber manufacturing industry was 4 billion 477 million yuan, an increase of 9.2% over the same period last year. Total profit: textile, clothing and accessories, chemical fiber total 480 million yuan, down compared with the same period. Among them, the textile industry was 12 million yuan, down compared with the same period last year; the clothing and apparel industry was 345 million yuan, unchanged from the same period last year; the chemical fiber manufacturing industry was 130 million yuan, unchanged from the same period last year.

The average number of workers employed: textile, clothing and accessories, chemical fiber total 23449 people, slightly lower than the same period last year. Among them, the textile industry was 3264 people, down compared with the same period last year; the textile and apparel industry 21511 people, an increase of 4.8% compared with the same period last year; the chemical fiber manufacturing industry 2674 people, an increase of 2.7% over the same period.
