1-7, Vietnam's Textile And Clothing Exports Increased By 10.5%
According to the Vietnam cotton yarn Association, Vietnam's textile and apparel exports in July 2019 amounted to 3 billion 810 million US dollars, an increase of 11.5%, an increase of 9.78% over the same period last year.
Specifically, Vietnam's fiber and textile fiber exports amounted to US $333 million in July, an increase of 5.7% over the same period, representing a decrease of 3.9% over the same period last year. The cumulative export volume in 1-7 months was US $2 billion 360 million, up 1% from the same period last year, far below the 17% growth in the same period last year.
In July, Vietnam's clothing exports amounted to $3 billion 250 million, an increase of 12.8%, an increase of 11.2% over the same period last year. The cumulative export volume in 1-7 months was US $18 billion 340 million, up 10.5% from the same period last year, lower than the 16.2% growth in the same period last year, and completed 51% of the total export tasks for 2019.
In the 1-7 months of 2019, Vietnam's exports of industrial fabrics amounted to US $361 million, up 16.7% from the same period last year, higher than the 12.6% increase in the same period last year. Demand for industrial fabrics is increasing in the international market.
In 1-7 months, Vietnam's textile materials and accessories exports amounted to US $1 billion 140 million, an increase of 2.3% over the same period last year, far below the 15.5% growth rate in the same period last year.
