He also said that Redmi Note 8 Pro9 will open second rounds of purchase in the morning of 6.
According to media reports, Redmi Note 8 Pro was released at the Redmi new product conference in August 29th. Besides 18W fast charging, it also has NFC function, 64 million pixel camera, four photo and infrared remote control configuration, and it can be purchased through millet mall, millet house, millet products, Jingdong, Tmall, suning.com and other channels. Lu Weibing said at the press conference: "Redmi is constantly popularizing high-end technology to promote the popularization of high-end technology."
Lu Weibing also said that this year's strategic battle against Redmi and confrontation and glory, from mobile phones to notebooks to television, has led to a full-blown war between the two sides.
However, the stock price of Xiaomi is still not optimistic. In September 2nd, the closing price of millet group was HK $8.35 / share. The intraday share price hit a record low of HK $8.28 / share, which has dropped 51% compared with the issue price of HK $17 / share at IPO in July 2018, and its share price has dropped 63% compared with the historical point.
Therefore, in September 3rd, the group announced that it would buy shares in the open market at a price of HK $12 billion. Wind statistics show that since 2019, 154 listed companies in Hong Kong stock have repurchased shares, and the total amount of repurchase has reached HK $8 billion 717 million. The group has also conducted a total of 22 share repurchases this year, amounting to HK $1 billion 200 million, ranking the first among 154 companies.
