Comrade Ji Guobiao, Vice Minister Of The Former Ministry Of Textile Industry And Academician Of Chinese Academy Of Engineering, Passed Away
Ji Guobiao, a vice minister of the Ministry of textile industry and a member of the Chinese Academy of engineering, died in September 5, 2019 because of invalid treatment in Beijing. He died at the age of 87.
During the serious illness and death of Comrade Ji Guobiao, the leading comrades of the Central Committee expressed their condolences and condolences in different ways.
Ji Guobiao was born in Wuxi, Jiangsu in March 1932. He joined the CPC in October 1952 and joined the Communist Party of China in October 1954. Since 1971, he has been the deputy director and director of the import Office of the Ministry of textile industry, deputy director of the import Office of the complete sets of equipment of the Ministry of textile industry, deputy director of the Construction Bureau, and also chief engineer of Yizheng chemical fiber factory, deputy director and director of chemical fiber Bureau. In 1984, he was the director of the Foreign Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of textile industry and the general manager of the China Textile Industry Foreign Economic and technological cooperation company. In December of the same year, he was Vice Minister of the Ministry of textile industry and a member of the Party group. In 1991, he was appointed director of the science and Technology Committee of the Ministry of textile industry. He was elected academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering in 1994.
Ji Guobiao is a member of the seventh and eight National Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and deputy director of the science and Technology Committee of the Eighth National Committee of the CPPCC.
