Kazakhstan Intends To Export About 10 Thousand Tons Of Wool To China Every Year.

Interfax news agency, Nur, Sultan, September, 16, the director of animal production and processing Department of the Ministry of agriculture of Kazakhstan, A Beh May Tov, said at a press conference the same day, during the visit of President Tokaev to China, the two sides signed the protocol on inspection and Quarantine of wool in Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan wool producers each year intend to export about 10 thousand tons of wool to China, and will continue to expand exports.

A Beh May Tov said that the annual output of wool in Kazakhstan is about 36 thousand tons. Kazakhstan exported 5000 tons of wool to China and was suspended after lack of inspection and quarantine certificate. Previously, Kazakhstan exported high quality fine wool to China, and will be mainly exported to semi coarse wool for thermal insulation and sports materials in the future.
