2019 Lanmei Textile And Garment Industry Development Advanced Training Class Opens In Shanghai.

In the traditional song and dance performances of Laos Foreign Students at Donghua University, the advanced training class of 2019 Lanmei textile and garment industry was held in Donghua University in October 9th. This seminar is sponsored by the textile industry branch of the China Council for the promotion of international trade. Promoting productivity cooperation

In March 2016, the first meeting of leaders of Lanmei cooperation was held, and the Lancang declaration of the first meeting of leaders of the Sanya Mekong River cooperation was published to create a community of destiny for peace and prosperity. As a result, Lanmei cooperation mechanism was officially launched.

In the past three years, Lanmei cooperation has developed into one of the most dynamic and potential cooperation mechanisms in the Mekong sub region. In three years, LM has accelerated its growth from the incubation period to the "Lan Mei speed" and "Lan Mei efficiency". The cooperation results exceeded expectations - two leaders' meetings and four foreign ministers' meetings were successfully held, and the cooperation between the six countries in the five priority areas was significantly promoted, contributing to the sustainable growth of regional economy, and establishing a new model of international relations characterized by win-win cooperation.

As one of the priority areas of national productivity cooperation in Lanmei region, China's textile industry has responded positively to the development requirements of the cooperative mechanism, and has pioneered the international capacity cooperation in the textile and garment industry in the basin.

In 2018, entrusted by the Ministry of international cooperation of the Ministry of industry and Commerce and jointly approved by the Ministry of foreign affairs and the Ministry of finance, the textile industry branch of the China Council for the promotion of international trade was awarded the Lanmei cooperation special fund, and actively launched a series of projects to promote the capacity cooperation of the textile and garment industry of Lanzhou Meizhou, including establishing a cooperative dialogue mechanism for the textile and garment industry in Lanmei River Basin, and organizing the training activities for the development of Lanmei textile and garment industry.

Against this background, the invitation of the 2019 advanced training class of Lanmei textile and garment industry (hereinafter referred to as "training class") has been immediately responded to by the Lancang Mekong industry. All countries have expressed their willingness to work together with China to promote and deepen the cooperation in textile and garment production in LanMei Basin, and jointly promote the establishment of the Cooperation Dialogue Mechanism in Lanmei textile and garment industry, enhance the status of LM in the global textile industry chain and value chain, and enhance the overall sustainable development ability of textile and garment industries in various countries.

Building an efficient industrial chain

At the opening ceremony, Li Yuan, deputy director of the Department of international cooperation of the Ministry of industry and commerce, said that Lanmei six countries are the destiny community of sharing weal and woe, and the development potential of the sub region is huge. In this regard, she made two suggestions: first, facing the opportunities and challenges in the current international environment, langmei six countries should further deepen consensus and strengthen cooperation, and vigorously develop the partnership of sub regional interconnection so as to promote the joint development of all sides. Yu Jianyong, President and academician of Donghua University, said in his speech that China's textile industry responded positively to the requirements of the Lanmei cooperation mechanism and took the lead in launching a series of projects to promote the capacity cooperation of the textile and garment industry of Lanzhou Mekong and six countries. Under the background of this cooperation, the 2019 high level training class of Lanmei textile and garment industry is of great significance in Donghua University. In recent years, Donghua University has taken the initiative to serve the "one belt and one way" initiative, and has constantly intensified its opening up to the outside world, attracting overseas students from all over the world to further their studies, and trained a large number of talents for the development and international cooperation of the global textile industry. As the world's largest producer and trading nation of textiles and clothing, China has a complete modern textile manufacturing system and producer service system, which has played an active role in promoting the cooperation of Lanmei textile and garment production in recent years. In the speech, Nguyen Van Tuan, President of the Vietnam Cotton Textile Association, said that the Mekong sub region has excellent geographical location, convenient transportation, abundant resources, huge economic potential and full of vitality, all of which provide necessary guarantee for the smooth landing of the Lanmei cooperation mechanism. Therefore, the development of Lanmei and six countries in textile and garment production cooperation will come to an end. Realizing sustainable development of regional industry

After the opening ceremony, the training course was officially opened. Xu Yingxin, vice president of China Federation of textile industry, chairman of the textile industry branch of China Council for the promotion of international trade, Liang Pengcheng, executive vice president of the textile industry branch of China Council for international trade promotion, Gu Bohong, director of the Yangtze River scholar of the Ministry of education and Dean of textile School of Donghua University, respectively, from their respective fields, analyzed the development trend and characteristics of the industry and industry from various angles, and brought wonderful explanations to students.

At present, China has become one of the most important textile importing countries in Lancang Meizhou, and Lanmei five has also become the main source of imports of yarn, clothing and other products in China's textile industry. The investment volume of China's textile and garment industry in Lanmei five countries increased from US $245 million in 2013 to US $504 million in 2018. At the same time, a group of global transnational corporations actively layout and invest and build factories in Lanmei region.

Xu Yingxin said that China and the Lancang Mekong five countries are mutually dependent on mountains and waters. The six countries have their innate advantages of cooperation, strong cooperation foundation, strong cooperation desire and great potential for cooperation. Through the formation effect of Lanmei cooperation, the six countries can withstand external economic pressures and promote their own development, and also explore new ways to promote the development and revitalization of the textile industry in the region and sub regions. Liang Pengcheng, executive vice president of the textile industry branch of the China Council for the promotion of international trade, introduced the textile industry branch and its exhibition system of the China Council for the promotion of international trade (CCPIT) and analyzed the great potential of LAN Mei cooperation. Liang Pengcheng said that as a special trade and investment promotion institution of textile industry specially established by the Chinese government, the textile trade promotion association has always been guided by market demand and based on innovation and development. Over the past 30 years, the whole industry chain exhibition covering yarn, surface accessories, industrial use, textile machinery, knitting, clothing and home textiles has been formed. The major professional exhibitions provide business opportunities for the industry, forming a high-quality resource integration platform integrating technology exchange, market development, international cooperation, trend publishing, transformation and upgrading, and so on, which can empower the Chinese textile industry in "technology, fashion and green" development.

Liang Pengcheng said that the textile professional exhibition as an important multilateral trading platform is expected to develop rapidly in Lanmei region. It is estimated that by 2025, the clothing export volume in Lanmei region will reach 600~800 billion US dollars (Vietnam, Burma and Kampuchea will be the leading garment export), and the demand for accessories will continue to grow. In the next 5~10 years, the textile and garment supply chain and the industrial chain will further merge and develop in the next two years. The process of the improvement of the transnational supply chain will also bring huge capacity docking and information gathering and supply needs. The growth of huge commercial traffic and the formation of the transnational supply chain will bring a rare historical opportunity for the rapid growth of the textile and clothing specialty exhibition in Lanmei region.
