Cotton: 2018/19 cotton market year ended, cotton imports 2 million 30 thousand tons, end stock estimated 7 million 210 thousand tons.

This month, the total output of cotton in 2019/20 was 5 million 800 thousand tons, unchanged from last month's forecast value. The United States imposed tariffs on China's textile and clothing exports, the decline in cotton consumption demand and the decline in cotton imports. It is estimated that the cotton consumption in the new year will fall to 8 million 50 thousand tons, the import volume will drop to 1 million 600 thousand tons, and the final inventory will drop to 6 million 520 thousand tons.
