2019 China Textile Industry "One Belt And One Road" Conference Held In Shengze, Jiangsu

　　 In October 17th, the 2019 China textile industry "one belt and one road" conference was held in Shengze town of Jiangsu province. This conference has a large scale, high concern and strong influence. The pilots of the China textile industry, the government authority think tank, the front-line frontline prospectors, and the international senior industry association are here to judge the policy direction for the participants and interpret the global trend. This session has attracted wide attention from all over the world. Over 100 international guests and domestic textile and garment industry colleagues in over 20 countries and regions, as well as local governments, associations, outstanding entrepreneurs, experts and scholars, media representatives and so on, attended more than 600 people to discuss and witness the opportunities and prosperity of the textile and garment industry in the region.

The heads of state ministries and local governments attending the conference include: Chen Yanbin, director of the regional open division of the national development and Reform Commission (the office of the leading group of the "one belt road" construction), Cao Xuejun, deputy director of the Department of consumer goods industry of the Ministry of industry and information technology, Cao Xuejun, Deputy National Coordinator of the Chinese Secretariat of the Ministry of foreign affairs, the Lancangjiang Mekong River cooperation division of the Ministry of foreign affairs, Zhang Liang, deputy director of the Ministry of foreign investment and economic cooperation of the Ministry of Commerce, Wujiang Provincial Committee of Suzhou municipality, Secretary of the party Working Committee of the Wujiang hi tech Industrial Development Zone, and Wang Yibing, Secretary of the Shengze town Party committee.

The leaders from the China Textile Industry Federation are: Gao Yong, former Secretary of the China Textile Industry Federation, Secretary General of the China Textile Industry Federation, Wang Tiankai, vice secretary of the CPC Central Committee, vice chairman Xu Yingxin, sun Huaibin, Zhang Yankai, the former vice chairman of the China Textile Federation, and the principal responsible persons from all departments, professional associations and institutions of the China Textile Association.

At the same time, more than 100 foreign guests from 24 countries and regions attended the conference, including senior government officials, leaders of textile and Garment Manufacturers Association, officials of embassies and consulates in China, and textile and garment industries.

At 9 a.m., the conference was opened under the auspices of the director of the marketing department of China Textile Union and the executive vice chairman of the textile industry branch of China Council for the promotion of international trade, Liang Pengcheng. He first introduced the leaders and guests attending the conference to the participants, and said: as a basic livelihood industry, the textile and garment industry has become an important demand of many countries along the "one belt and one road". Xu Yingxin, vice chairman of the China Textile Federation, executive director of the Federation and President of the textile industry branch of China Council for the promotion of international trade, welcome the speech to the representatives of 24 countries in the world. He said that the holding of the conference is aimed at systematically summarizing the achievements of China's textile industry in the international development of local and global chains. On the other hand, it is also building consensus and discussing with the governments, trade associations and enterprises along the "one belt and one road" countries how to deepen mutually beneficial trade and investment cooperation in the textile and garment industry in the region. Under the theme of "building a global textile destiny community", the General Assembly pointed out the direction of the textile and garment industry in the current historical context.

Wang Yibing, Secretary of the Suzhou Wujiang District Committee, Party Secretary of the Wujiang hi tech Industrial Development Zone, Secretary of the Shengze town Party committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the China Eastern Silk Market, said in her speech that openness and integration have always been the development concept of Shengze. In the new era of Shengze, we must adhere to the green green development orientation, take the initiative to serve the "one belt and one road" construction, accelerate the pace of "going out", and promote the diversified exchanges and cooperation between Shengze and the countries and regions along the route.

For the next step of the layout planning of China's textile industry "one belt and one road", Gao Yong said that under the guidance of national initiatives and policies, the relevant government departments at all levels should rearrange and plan for China's textile industry "one belt and one road" in 14th Five-Year. From the relatively passive "going out" in the past, we have gradually formed a high quality and initiative "going out".

Tong Jisheng, chairman of Orient International (Group) Co., Ltd. gave a speech entitled "reform and transformation of enterprises in the practice of" one area and one road ". Subsequently, Yang Yifei, editor in chief of BoF fashion business review, interpreted the opportunities and challenges facing China's fashion industry and brand in the speech entitled" 2019 global fashion industry insight ".

The director of Madagascar Economic Development Bureau, Andy Tiana Ravalomanda, takes "Madagascar textile and garment industry investment opportunity" as the theme, introduces Madagascar's geographical advantages, investment environment, development process and current situation. He said that Madagascar has become one of the most attractive textile and garment producing countries in the world, and hopes that more Chinese textile and garment enterprises will enter the Madagascar market. The Madagascar government and industry organizations will also help investors to provide services through various channels.

The first batch of officially released countries totaled 8, including Egypt, Ethiopia, Kampuchea, Kenya, Bangladesh, Burma, Uzbekistan and Vietnam. The guide describes in detail the basic information of various countries, the basis of textile industry, the conditions of production factors, the policy environment, suggestions on investment orientation, and some investment cases of Chinese textile enterprises, which provides authoritative reference materials for Chinese textile and garment enterprises.
