The special high school of Qingdao, founded in 1909, is worth 110th anniversary of Qiingdao University this year. The Institute of textile and clothing, Qiingdao University, originated from the former Shandong Textile Institute of technology. It began in 1950. It has a long history of running a school, strong teachers, deep discipline and strong scientific research capability. It has the only doctoral and master degree in textile discipline in Shandong province. After nearly 70 years of construction and development, it has become one of the important textile and clothing colleges in the field of textile discipline in the whole country.

Bai Jing, Deputy Secretary General of China Textile and clothing education association and Deputy Secretary General of textile science and technology education foundation, introduced the work of the foundation, especially the textile textile education and teaching achievement award of "textile light". It is reported that the award was launched in 2009. It is an industry award sponsored by the China Textile Industry Federation, the China Textile and clothing education association, and the textile optical technology education foundation.
