We have inherited more than five thousand years of Chinese civilization and accumulated a wealth of ecological wisdom. Since 2016, green color design products have been developed in the industry, green factories have been built, green parks have been built, and green supply chain enterprises have been cultivated. As the main body of production and operation, textile enterprises play an important role in economic and social development, energy conservation, environmental protection and comprehensive utilization of resources. The establishment of ecological civilization from the enterprise level can accumulate valuable experience for the industry and even the whole industrial ecological civilization construction, and can also provide an improvement basis for the green assessment of enterprises. Through such an exploratory, operable and sustainable activity, Wanli can not only recognize advanced, set up demonstrations, but also deeply publicize outstanding enterprises in the construction of ecological civilization in textile industry, and gradually enhance and expand the cohesion and influence of the textile industry in developing ecological civilization.


In order to better evaluate the "eco friendliness" of textile enterprises, the China Textile Industry Federation and China ecological civilization research and Promotion Association jointly developed the "evaluation index system for demonstration and evaluation of ecological civilization in textile industry". Under the premise of scientific and reasonable layout of enterprises, 60 indicators of five aspects, namely, ecological economy, ecological environment, ecological habitat, ecological culture, and ecological system, were used as yardsticks and scoring criteria for evaluating the creation of ecological civilization in textile enterprises, and in this way, enterprises were guided to improve policies, techniques and management in the demonstration activities of ecological civilization, for short, the "1+5" model.


The ultimate goal of evaluation is to incorporate indicators of ecological civilization, such as economic benefits, resource consumption, environmental risks, education and training, social responsibility, into the comprehensive evaluation system of enterprise economic development. At the same time, through experience accumulation, the system can gradually form an evaluation standard and mechanism in line with the ecological civilization construction and sustainable development of the textile industry.


The "three elements in one line" of experts, media and Industry


Green development takes the harmony between man and nature as the value orientation. Taking green, low carbon and recycling as the main principles and taking the construction of ecological civilization as the basic starting point, it is an inevitable way to break through the bottleneck of resources and environment. China's textile ecological civilization will undoubtedly help to achieve this goal and task.


All along, the activities of "China's textile ecological civilization" have invited experts to conduct on-the-spot investigation and evaluation, visit the media, and interact with industry leaders and peers, thus achieving the "three elements in one" and effectively promoting the excellent practices and technologies of ecological enterprises in the whole industry.
