Data show that, as the world's third largest apparel retailer, XXX group's revenue reached 2 trillion and 290 billion yen (151 billion 400 million yuan), an increase of 7.5% over the previous year, and total operating profit of 257 billion 600 million yen (16 billion 900 million yuan), an increase of 9.1% over the same period, and a new record in revenue and business growth.
Among them, China has contributed about 22% of its revenue to the parent company, second only to the Japanese market.

Since 2016, UNIQLO joined the China Song Qingling foundation to carry out the whole commodity recycling and recycling project in the whole country. Up to September 2019, the life of some 3 million 600 thousand old clothes has been extended.

Miao embroidery project passes excellent embroidery power
In July 2019, UNIQLO joined the Song Qingling foundation of China to open the Miao embroidery project to "inherit the new generation to deliver excellent embroidery". In the Xiangxi District of Hunan, five groups of outstanding Miao embroidery women inheritors were selected. Through the on-the-spot investigation, the Miao embroidery culture was passed down, and the embroidered mother story was recorded. The five positive forces contained in the traditional Miao embroidery skills and the traditional Miao embroidery culture, such as striving for progress, cohesion, integration, freshmen and maternal love, were shown.
Miao embroidery does not embroider the spectrum, sees the mountain embroiders the mountain, sees the water embroiders the water, in the needle and thread, records the cultural inheritance wisdom. When the silk thread becomes a pattern, when the pattern is worn on the body, there will be the temperature and strength from generation to generation.
This project, while discovering the charm of Miao embroidery, is more aware of the plight of local embroidery mothers. The Miao embroidery project is also an innovative attempt in the direction of cultural poverty alleviation. UNIQLO donated 1 million 570 thousand yuan to carry out the Miao embroidery technology training for 700 embroidered mothers, and finally purchased embroidery pieces from 400 embroidered mothers, so that the embroidered girl's per capita income increased by 1300 yuan, which provided them with sustainable job opportunities.
