Ministry Of Commerce: The US Side Will Fulfill Some Commitments Related To The Cancellation Of Tariffs On Chinese Products And The Levy Of Tariffs.
The Ministry of Commerce held a regular press conference today. The spokesman said in reply to the relevant issues reached by China and the United States in reaching the first stage agreement, the two sides agreed on the text of the first stage economic and trade agreement on the basis of equality and mutual respect. The US side will fulfill some commitments related to the cancellation of tariffs on Chinese products and the Levy of tariffs. The bilateral economic and trade team is in close communication on the follow-up work such as the signing of the agreement. Regarding the specific contents of the first stage agreement, the summit indicated that no more information could be disclosed, and the contents of the agreement will be announced after the formal signing of the agreement.
