The special high school of Qingdao, founded in 1909, is worth 110th anniversary of Qiingdao University this year. The Institute of textile and clothing, Qiingdao University, originated from the former Shandong Textile Institute of technology, started in 1950. It has a long history of running a school, a strong faculty, deep discipline and strong scientific research capability. In 2019, the rate of entrance examination for postgraduate students reached 51%, and the employment rate remained steady at over 97%. Graduates were in short supply. Chen Shaojuan and Xing Mingjie, professors and professors of the textile and Clothing Institute of Qiingdao University, are outstanding representatives of the teachers' team. Chen Shaojuan, Professor of textile and clothing College of Qiingdao University, knows that she is the busiest person in the college. She served as the executive dean of the Institute of textile and clothing, undertaking the management of the whole college, and also undertook undergraduate and postgraduate courses. She claims to be "whirlwind", where to go, "scrape" where, others will follow "turn" up. In the interview, she admitted that she was too tired to do so, but she felt that "this is the duty of a teacher, and never forget the beginning of her teacher".

Chen Shaojuan treats her students very kindly. She calls her students "children" and "girls", which makes the students feel that their teacher is like their parents. But her request for the students was very strict. She asked the students to go to the lab before 8 every morning and leave before 10 p.m. Although she could not meet the students every day, she had to attend the weekly group meetings, meticulous in her research papers, and sometimes she had to guide and revise more than ten times.

At the same time of teaching, she also cultivated in the front line of scientific research, and made great achievements in the field of textile materials and textile design. In the past three years, 1 state-level projects, 1 key projects in Shandong Province, and a number of horizontal projects have been granted. 4 authorized invention patents have been issued, and many SCI papers, CSCD papers, and 1 inventions have been awarded. She has been selected as an excellent thesis for her graduation thesis of master's degree, and I have been selected as "excellent tutor of Qiingdao University" and "tutor of outstanding graduate student in Shandong".

In addition to teaching and scientific research, Chen Shaojuan will focus more on management. Since taking office, she has made bold reforms, formulated a number of rules and regulations, and inspired the enthusiasm of teachers and students. Teachers' interest in college management and participation in college management has been significantly improved. The school has shown a positive atmosphere for entrepreneurship and shows vitality of the textile institute. The academy has won the "excellent talent training institution in China's textile industry" and has become a member unit of the Qilu textile brand alliance. At the same time, she discussed with the college teachers about the reform of education and teaching, and jointly changed the concept of education, explored the plans, methods and measures of education and teaching reform, reform the curriculum system and student evaluation methods, set up the educational concept of student oriented and output oriented, won the first prize of teaching achievement in Shandong Province, and led the college to pass the professional certification of Engineering Education in textile engineering successfully.

The change of evaluation mechanism has brought the Institute's teaching and research a new look, but Chen Shaojuan said humbly: "after all these years, I have only done one thing, that is, let everyone be willing to work."

Speaking of teacher Xing, the students are always pouring out and giving a very high evaluation.

He has been responsible for undergraduate and postgraduate courses for a long time, including many disciplines, such as "spinning", "new spinning", "new textile technology and new technology", "new spinning theory and application", "modern spinning technology", "spinning principle and application", "modern textile development", "textile frontiers and progress", "professional ethics and academic ethics". In addition, the teaching workload has been completed for over 400 hours, and many quality courses have been evaluated.

Since 1998, Xing Mingjie has hosted the teaching and research work of textile engineering. He has constructed a training system such as "one professional, multi direction", "innovative class" and "excellent engineer training", and has been improving and implementing it for a long time. During this period, Shandong and Qiingdao University have won many awards. Among them, in 2017, the first prize was awarded to the first prize in the teaching achievement award of the four year assessment of Shandong Province, which achieved a breakthrough in the first prize of professional provincial teaching achievement and received favorable comments.

While completing his teaching task, Xing Mingjie also made great achievements in scientific research. His main research fields are the research and application of the structure and properties of textile materials, the research and product development of new textile equipment and new technologies, especially in the field of new spinning technology. Some achievements have been made in the research of jet spinning, traditional vortex spinning and jet vortex spinning. The theory of "half free end spinning mechanism of air-jet vortex spinning" has been discovered and verified, which effectively explains the yarn forming process and yarn structure of air-jet vortex spinning, and is used to guide spinning production and spinning machine manufacture. Xing Mingjie has chaired or participated in more than twenty scientific research projects, and has published over 150 academic papers in influential academic journals both at home and abroad.

In Xing Mingjie's view, it is not only a personal honor to win the "2018 Year Award" of textile light, but also to Qiingdao University's textile and Clothing Institute for many years in teaching, scientific research, teaching management and so on. He said, "as a teacher, teaching and educating people is my profession. In the future, we will take the prize as the driving force, train more and better textile talents, and develop more scientific research achievements to contribute to the textile industry tomorrow."
