Gap And Lululemon Temporarily Close Some Stores

Affected by the epidemic, the fast fashion brand Gap announced that it would temporarily close its headquarters and some stores, and other stores would adjust their business hours as needed.

The temporary closure of some stores has been exacerbated by Gap, which has been frozen in China. In the past two years, Gap's brand performance has been poor, and sales and net profits in 2019 have dropped sharply for the three consecutive quarter. To alleviate the cost pressure, Gap plans to permanently shut down 230 stores that are not performing well or meet their expectations before the end of 2020. Lululemon has opened 39 stores in China. The official website shows that only stores in Nanjing are operating normally, and stores in Shanghai, Beijing, Hongkong, Wuhan and other cities are temporarily closed. Lululemon joined the 28 brand campaign ambassadors to launch more than 40 Yoga live courses and maintain interaction with consumers during the store.
