Yanshan Petrochemical Has Successfully Developed A Special Material For Melt Blown Nonwovens.

Masks are still very scarce. At present, the gap of melt blown non-woven fabric is huge. In February 19th, Yanshan Petrochemical Corporation sent two batches of PP melt blown nonwovens special materials to Shanghai and Langfang downstream manufacturers for melt blown nonwovens production. It is reported that since the successful production of polypropylene melt blown nonwovens special material in February 13th, Yanshan Petrochemical has sent the product to the downstream melt blown non-woven manufacturer for 1275 kilograms, so that this special material can be used for the production of medical masks as early as possible.


Since the outbreak of the new crown, due to the shortage of anti epidemic materials such as masks, the Sinopec has assumed the responsibility of increasing the production mask. Zhang Yuzhuo, chairman of the Sinopec, clearly emphasized how fast and faster the production of masks can be produced. "If we produce more than one mask, the people will have more protection."


Melted nonwoven fabric, commonly known as the "heart" of respirators, is the filter layer in the middle of the mask. It has good filtration, barrier, thermal insulation and adsorption properties. It is an important raw material for producing mask. Under the overall deployment of the group company, the Yanshan Petrochemical Industries Co attaches great importance to the rapid organization and implementation, vigorously exerting the advantages of integration of production, marketing and research, and co ordinate the work of scientific research, raw material organization, stable production and application test.


As the backbone of scientific research, the high tech company of Yanshan Petrochemical Company immediately took action to organize research and test analysis and amplification experiments, and carried out a pilot test of over 10 formulations of melt blown nonwovens special materials, screened the formula of auxiliary agents and optimized the performance of products. In February 10th, the formula of special material for melt blown nonwovens was successfully produced. According to the formula requirements, 10 days, the first polypropylene plant of Yanshan petrochemical company switched to melt blown material. In the case of time constraints, technicians and operators closely cooperate, with a high sense of responsibility and mission, stable operation, parameter adjustment, quality assurance, melt index and other key indicators.


At the same time, through vigorous coordination and multiple debugging, Yanshan Petrochemical Company's newly restored wholly owned subsidiary, Beijing Yanshan and Shing rubber and plastics New Material Co., Ltd. is designed to produce 5 tons per day extruder production line. The purpose is to transform the melt blown material into a special material for melt blown nonwoven fabric by degradation.


Under the powerful command of the Petrochemical Industries Co in Yanshan, the upper, middle and lower reaches of the whole country coordinated the whole process of the melt blown nonwovens special materials. On the afternoon of February 13th, under the overall arrangement of Sinopec, the first batch of PP melt blown nonwovens special materials were successfully sent to downstream manufacturers of Jiangsu and Guangdong for trial production of melt blown nonwovens. Up to now, Yanshan Petrochemical has produced 250 tons of melt blown base material, and continues to produce melt blown nonwovens special materials. Next, Yanshan Petrochemical will maintain close communication with downstream manufacturers and continue to stabilize the production process. According to the trial results, we can better optimize the product quality and meet the manufacturer's demand for mask materials.
