Check The Number Of Brands In The Global Fashion Industry
As governments intensify their efforts to contain the spread of the new crown virus, fashion brands and retailers are rushing to cope with the impact of the epidemic. Asian fashion shows and activities have been cancelled or postponed in the early stages of the outbreak, but as the epidemic continues to spread around the world, its impact may be longer and deeper than many people initially expected. Despite the past few weeks, Chinese stores have been gradually resumed. But at present, France, Italy and Spain have imposed strict restrictions on their citizens' actions and closed down some non essentials shops. On Monday, Germany also announced that they would shut down non essentials stores.
At present, activities that have not yet been officially announced to be cancelled or postponed include: the Burberry is scheduled to be held in Shanghai in April 23rd; Chanel plans to hold the 2021 early spring show in May in Capri, Italy. Searl, Selfridges, Bergdorf Goodman of New York, and Saks Fifth Avenue, Sax Fifth Avenue in the United States, are still open to business in the United Kingdom, Bergdorf. The same is true of TJ Maxx, Sephora and Messi (Macy's) stores. Beauty retailers, Space NK and beauty brand MAC have cancelled the makeup service in the store and adopt the principle of "no touch".
