China Textile Federation Officially Launched The "Textile Industry" 14Th Five-Year "Development Guidance" Research And Compilation Work

2020 is the end of the 13th Five-Year plan. When China builds a well-off society in an all-round way, the goal of China's textile power will be basically realized. In the 14th Five-Year period, the new path of socialist modernization will be fully opened, and the textile industry will also enter a new stage of high quality development. Although the textile industry has accumulated good foundation and capability for high quality development, it also faces many risk factors, such as reverse globalization, intensified international competition, and urgent upgrading of domestic consumption demand. In order to study the opportunities and challenges faced by the textile industry during the "14th Five-Year" period and to determine the orientation and path for the textile industry to achieve the high quality development in the process of socialist modernization, the China Textile Federation started preparations for the 14th Five-Year plan of the textile industry in the second half of 2019, and issued the guiding opinions on the development of the textile industry "14th Five-Year" in March 9, 2020. The notice of the plan of work and the development and guidance of the "14th Five-Year development" of textile industry (hereinafter referred to as "guiding opinions") were officially launched.

The China Textile Federation has set up a "guidance" leading group, headed by Gao Yong, the party secretary of the China Textile Association and Sun Ruizhe, chairman of the China Textile Federation. All the departments and professional associations of the China Textile Association have fully participated in the research work of "guiding opinions", and set up a research group of three dimensions. The first dimension is the comprehensive level, including 4 groups: the integrated group, the science and technology group, the fashion group and the green group. The second dimension is the special subject research, which has set up the regional layout and industrial cluster, international development, fiber raw material supply and demand. There are 7 topics in the field of professional training, industrial Internet and textile industry, civil military integration and integration of industry and finance. The third dimension is research on professional issues, including 12 specialized fields, including cotton spinning, chemical fiber, wool spinning, linen spinning, silk, knitting, printing and dyeing, filament weaving, clothing, household textiles, industrial textiles and textile machinery. According to the schedule, we will preliminarily complete the research on the special issues and the "14th Five-Year" development guidance in the first half of this year. In the third quarter, we will form the "guiding opinions on the development of the textile industry in 14th Five-Year" (draft discussion), which will be basically finalized within the year on the basis of sufficient comments from within and outside the industry, and will be formally released in the first half of 2021.

In March 10th, the chairman of the China Textile union office video conference, Gao Yong and Sun Ruizhe emphasized that the "14th Five-Year" guidance work is the focus of 2020's work. We should do research according to the new situation and new requirements of the industry's high quality development. Up to now, the integrated group, technology group, fashion group and green group have identified research teams, and have held various project launch sessions through video conference. The research plan and specific progress plan will be completed this month. Special issues and research in the professional field are also being actively promoted. The China Textile Association Science and Technology Association, the chemical fiber Association, the cotton textile association, the clothing association, the industrial association and other units organized the online research on the related issues of the 14th Five-Year planning and development, and widely collected the situation and development judgment from the entrepreneurs and social resources, so as to help the "14th Five-Year" guidance research work.
