    In April 1, 2020, the Ministry of industry and information technology of People's Republic of China will formally implement the "textile and bamboo fiber and bamboo pulp viscose fiber qualitative identification test method" near infrared spectroscopy, the textile industry standard.

    I. background of standard setting

    China's economy has been developing rapidly in recent years, but the environmental problems have highlighted the concept of green, natural, healthy and environment-friendly consumption, and the market of green products and environmental protection industry has shown great potential. Bamboo fiber (natural bamboo fiber, also known as bamboo fiber) is the bast fiber extracted directly from bamboo. It is the fifth largest natural fiber in the world after cotton, wool, silk and hemp. As a new type of plant fiber, bamboo fiber has excellent performance and wide source of raw materials, which can meet the development needs of green life in the future.

    The application of bamboo fiber belongs to the textile industry and the new material industry. We need to control the quality from many aspects such as raw material, process and finished product inspection. Due to the lack of awareness of bamboo fiber in the textile industry and consumers, many bad manufacturers in the market are using bamboo viscose fiber (chemical regenerated cellulose fiber, also known as bamboo pulp fiber) as bamboo fiber, which has greatly confused the minds of consumers and the right to know.

    In 2019, the Ministry of industry and information technology organized the development of this standard in order to standardize the cognition and identification of bamboo fiber raw materials by industry and consumers, enhance the application level of bamboo fiber products, and promote the sustainable development of bamboo fiber industry.

    Two. Significance of standard implementation

    China's "textile bamboo fiber and bamboo pulp viscose fiber qualitative identification test method near infrared spectroscopy", the formal implementation of the textile industry standard has the following important significance:

    First, it is conducive to standardizing the bamboo fiber industry, urging the market to clear up the source, and putting an end to the phenomenon that bamboo viscose fibers and bast fibers are posing as natural bamboo fibers, which is conducive to the development of bamboo fiber production and the smooth development of domestic and foreign trade.

    Two, it is beneficial for our country to develop bamboo industry vigorously, enhance the efficiency of direct utilization of bamboo, and increase the added value of bamboo forest resources.

    Three, it is conducive to promoting the development of bamboo fiber downstream application products, and promoting the application and development of new environmental protection materials.

    Four, it is conducive to enhancing China's industrial advantages as a big textile country, giving full play to bamboo fiber energy conservation and emission reduction and creating green ecological benefits.

    Three. Main contents of the standard

    Textile fiber industry standard is divided into 10 parts, including: scope, normative reference documents, terms and definitions, principles, instruments, establishment and verification of qualitative models, qualitative identification of unknown samples, results presentation, updating of calibration models, and test reports.

    This standard adopts near infrared spectroscopy analysis technology, stipulates how to collect modeling samples, how to establish the NIR qualitative model of bamboo fiber and bamboo viscose fiber, and how to analyze and identify the unknown samples through the model, so as to realize fast and non-destructive qualitative identification of bamboo fiber and bamboo pulp viscose fiber.

    (1) the scientific identification of bamboo fiber and bamboo pulp viscose fibers is stipulated.

    (two) the concept of bamboo fiber and bamboo pulp viscose fiber was defined. The standard clearly points out that bamboo fibers are fibers obtained from the stems of bamboo, and bamboo viscose fibers are regenerated cellulose fibers made from bamboo as raw materials according to viscose fiber production process.

    (three) using the combined frequency, frequency doubling vibration or rotation of C-H, O-H, N-H and other chemical bonds in the qualitative samples, the absorption spectrum in the infrared region is obtained by diffuse reflection, and the relationship model is established to achieve qualitative identification.

    (four) the performance of the instrument and instrument must meet the scanning resolution of not less than 2cm-1, and the scanning frequency is not less than 32 times. The spectral range is 12500cm-1 4000cm-1.

    (five) the modeling process, instrument calibration, sample NIR acquisition, natural cellulose and regenerated cellulose calibration models were clearly defined.

    Four. Related standard system

    In order to lay a solid foundation for the development of bamboo fiber industry, the "bamboo fiber industrial network" collated the standard system of bamboo fiber which China has promulgated and implemented, including:

    (1) local standards: Fujian Provincial Bureau of quality and technical supervision DB35/T1269-2012 "bamboo fiber" and Sichuan provincial quality and Technical Supervision Bureau DB51/T2148-2016 "bamboo fiber".

    (two) industry standard: the national forestry bureau LY/T1792-2008 "textile bamboo fiber" and the State Ministry of industry FZ/T01150-2019 "textile bamboo fiber and bamboo pulp viscose fiber qualitative identification test method near infrared spectroscopy".

    (three) national standard: China National Standardization Management Committee GB/T11951-2018 "natural fiber terminology".
