Behind the incident is the rapid expansion of the productivity of Shenzhen masks. According to the Shenzhen material support group, in the early days of the epidemic, Shenzhen had only 8 mask manufacturers, with less than 500 thousand daily output. It only took 36 days. Shenzhen set 49 enterprises' strength, bringing the number of Nissan masks from 500 thousand to 1000 million. How did Shenzhen do this from the shortage of early supplies to the tens of millions of Nissan masks nowadays?
There are more than 260 production lines in the production of 18 mask enterprises.
Since the outbreak of the epidemic, many enterprises have joined the anti epidemic force. According to the data from the "sky eye" professional edition, from February 1, 2020 to March 30th, the business scope of more than 2.8 enterprises in the country has added "mask, frontal gun, disinfectant, protective clothing, medical devices" and other related businesses.
A number of enterprises in Shenzhen are also actively converting production, increasing production and expanding production, and the manufacturing industry is making collective efforts. At present, there are more than 260 production lines of 18 masks in Shenzhen. Among them, BYD, prudent, baone, Foxconn, Chang Ying, Shenzhen Zhonghai, Sannuo, CISCO Hing and other key enterprises account for more than 90% of the total output.

As of March 12th, more than 50 million pieces of masks have been shipped to all parts of the country. This is BYD, the largest mask factory in the world. BYD can complete cross boundary and achieve mass production in a very short time. The root lies in its strong R & D capability and manufacturing capability.
According to the relevant person in charge of BYD, mask production can not be separated from production line and raw materials, and the mask production line needs clean rooms and equipment. BYD has a ready made mobile phone assembly workshop. Only upgrading the cleanup level can directly be used as a decontamination chamber for producing masks. Compared with other manufacturers, it has inherent advantages. In addition, since its inception, BYD has set up a professional team of equipment research and development and manufacturing, and has been engaged in independent research and development of complex production lines and equipment such as electronics, batteries, new energy vehicles and so on. The whole group has tens of thousands of processing centers, with various kinds of high precision equipment such as grinders, moulds and so on.
In search of new development opportunities in the fight against epidemic diseases, it is two correct to fight back. In February 13th, Chang Ying precision worked with a medical company, and the automatic production line began to manufacture the ear belt medical mask. With the support of relevant departments in Shenzhen, the first batch of 10 million masks is in place, and the mask production capacity will reach 1 million per day at the end of February. In addition, Chang Ying precision has prepared 5 million capacity per day, which can be expanded at any time. It has been revealed that in February 20th, the first mask machine of long precision production was formally delivered, and more than 230 units have been delivered so far.
Special class service, dig deep local production potential
In addition to the positive transformation and self-help of enterprises, the City material support group has also taken effective measures to actively coordinate and support enterprises' growth, expansion and conversion. Government departments, municipal market supervision bureau, industry and information technology departments also set up special work classes to enter the key material production enterprises and supporting enterprises in our city to solve the difficulties of resuming production and reproducing enterprises.
In view of key enterprises such as Foxconn and BYD, Shenzhen implements "one enterprise, one strategy" and "one enterprise, one class". The special person stationed in the factory provides all-weather, all-around and whole chain "housekeeper" service, and actively coordinates and solves problems such as shortages of parts, raw materials, and product filing.
For the purchase of materials such as masks, Shenzhen has also innovatively adopted the "two entry" and "two types" mode. The "two entries" are materials that are sufficient for the time limit and the price is reasonable. The designated national medicines are uniformly represented by the municipal government, and the materials that are urgent, too expensive and have certain risks are transferred to the large pharmaceutical companies such as Hai Wang Xing Xing, North and south medicine, Ding Ding Yao and Guo Da pharmacy, etc., and the market is purchased and supplied on the principle of marketization. The "two types" are materials that are uniformly purchased by national medicine, co-ordinate and dispatch as government reserve materials, and materials supplied by pharmaceutical companies to supply Shenzhen market in batches.
