Egyptian Ministry Of Trade And Industry Co Production Of Respirators With Textile Industry
Egypt daily news May 21st news: Egyptian Minister of trade and industry Naefe Jamie A (NevineGamea) announced in May 20th that the Ministry of trade and industry agreed with textile and garment manufacturers to start producing cloth masks immediately. Jamia said the move was designed to meet the requirements of the Ministry of higher education, so that students who are about to take the year-end examination can use masks. As the country gradually opens up some activities and coexists with the new crown virus, it will provide masks to all citizens.
Ossa Marco Shri, a member of Cairo chamber of Commerce medical supplies, said that 80% of the locally produced masks were exported before the Egyptian export mask was issued. Koshri said that once Egypt entered the "coexistence" mode with the new crown virus, the masked masks can be supplied to the market. The coexistence mode is expected to begin in June. Egypt needs 5 million to 6 million masks during curfew, but 30 million masks a day.
