Due to the economic downturn, most of the downstream enterprises do not do inventory, only try to play games among domestic medium and low-grade textile enterprises, and purchase and sell according to the order situation.
At present, the inventory of raw materials and finished products of small and medium-sized textile enterprises is different due to their orders. In the same period last year, the raw material inventory of textile enterprises in many places in Jiangsu Province was about two months. Now, most of them are compressed to less than one month. The cotton inventory of a 10000 spindle cotton mill in Dafeng City area is only 7-8 tons, and some of the empty warehouses of textile enterprises have begun to rent out. This phenomenon also confirms the fact that the recent cotton business batch is small, the quantity is small and the purchase and sale speed is slow.
It is understood that 20000 spindle spinning enterprises consume about 150 tons of cotton per month under the condition of full load startup. Since this year, almost no enterprises have reached this purchase volume. After completing the orders after the resumption of work and production from March to April, the enterprises that did not renew the orders still reduced their production or closed their doors to maintain the monthly raw materials of about 100 tons for the start-up enterprises.

As for the slight rise in cotton prices, some textile enterprises said that they did not regret not purchasing in time when the cotton price was at a low point before, because the purchase of raw materials under the epidemic situation requires not only capital but also courage. Over the years, several irregular market fluctuations have long extinguished the desire of many warriors who fought in the sea of cotton. Step by step and fair price sales have become the main sales concept of enterprises.
