The Policy Of 50% Discount For Enterprises Will Be Extended By The End Of The Year

A few days ago, the national development and Reform Commission issued a notice to extend the phased reduction of enterprise electricity cost policy to the end of this year to promote the reduction of production and operation costs of enterprises.

The notice clearly states that, from July 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020, the electricity consumption cost policy of power users with general industrial and commercial electricity prices and other electricity prices and large industrial electricity prices will be continuously reduced in stages except for those used in high energy consuming industries. When the power grid enterprises calculate and collect the electricity charges of the above-mentioned power users (including those who have participated in the market transaction), they shall uniformly continue to settle at 95% of the original price level.

According to the circular, the development and reform departments of all localities should fully understand the importance of promoting the reduction of production and operation costs of enterprises in the current situation to guarantee employment, people's livelihood, and guide power grid enterprises to seriously implement the policy of prolonging the phased reduction of enterprise's electricity consumption cost, ensure the stable implementation of the policy and do a good job of policy interpretation; actively cooperate with the local market supervision department to innovate ways and methods To effectively strengthen the supervision on the charging behavior of power transfer links such as commercial complexes, industrial parks and office buildings, ensure that the dividend of electricity price reduction is transmitted to the end users in time and in full, and increase the sense of enterprise gain.
