The Chinese Embassy In Myanmar Held A Forum On Textile And Garment Enterprises With The Chinese Chamber Of Commerce Of Myanmar

On August 21, the Chinese enterprise chamber of Commerce and the textile and garment branch of Myanmar held a forum on Chinese textile and garment enterprises in Myanmar. Tan Shufu, commercial counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar, and Liu Ying, President of the Chinese enterprise chamber of Commerce in Myanmar, attended. The textile and clothing branch represented the enterprises to attend the meeting through on-site and video.

The participating enterprises discussed the current business situation of enterprises, the impact of the new crown epidemic on their business in Myanmar, the difficulties faced by enterprises and the support they need. They all agreed that they should unite, cooperate and seek common development, make full use of the chamber of commerce platform to promote the virtuous circle of the industry, enhance the cohesion of the industry, and make positive contributions to Myanmar's employment and economic and social development.

Counsellor Tan Shufu encouraged enterprises to "sink down" and "melt in" in Myanmar from the aspects of group heating, mutual help, improvement of local management level and continuous epidemic prevention and control, so as to achieve a win-win situation in which economic benefits of enterprises, economic development of Myanmar and economic and trade cooperation between China and Myanmar are taken into account.
