The national commendation meeting for fighting new crown pneumonia was held at 10 am on September 8 at the Great Hall of the people in Beijing. Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President of the state and chairman of the Central Military Commission, presented medals and made an important speech to the winners of state medals and national honorary titles. The meeting also commended the advanced individuals and collectives, outstanding communist party members and advanced grass-roots party organizations in the country to fight the new crown pneumonia epidemic.
