Strengthening International Academic Exchange Of Medical Textiles

From October 17 to 18, the Sino Japanese Medical Textile Forum was held in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. This forum is a bilateral academic exchange project of China Association for science and technology. It is sponsored by China Textile Engineering Society and co sponsored by Suzhou University, Key Laboratory of textile fabric technology ministry of Education (Donghua University), Japan fiber society, Journal of Textile journal and 2.0 of textile biomedical materials science and technology innovation. More than 130 people from universities, scientific research institutes and enterprises participated in the forum.

Fu Wei, director general of the medical textile society, said that there was a big gap between China's medical textile technology and China's advanced textile technology. At present, the transformation rate of scientific and technological achievements in China is still relatively low, and the innovation system with enterprises as the main body is forming. He said that the field of medical textiles is a very special industry with high technical threshold. He hoped that the state would give more policy support to the medical textile industry in terms of the medical system. At the same time, the medical textile industry should also have a strong manufacturing foundation to support while paying attention to scientific research. He hoped to strengthen exchanges with developed countries in this field, promote international cooperation, and gradually shorten the gap with developed countries.

The content of the forum includes invitation report and wall newspaper display. The invitation report adopts the combination of offline, recording and live broadcast. 21 experts from Donghua University, Suzhou University, Qingdao University, Jiaxing College, Tianjin University of technology, Beijing University of chemical technology, Zhejiang University of science and technology, Osaka University, Tokyo Agricultural and Technical University, Fukui University, Shinjuku University, Kyoto University, University of California, Davis, etc., shared and discussed.

At the same time, nearly 30 authors participated in the wall newspaper display and seriously answered the questions of the participants. The on-site communication atmosphere was active. After careful evaluation by the expert group, a total of 8 excellent wall newspapers were selected. Yin Naidong, vice president of China Textile Engineering Society, awarded the excellent wall newspaper certificate to the award-winning author.

This forum will gather the wisdom of experts and play an important role in enhancing the scientific and technological innovation ability of the industry, promoting the frontier basic research of medical textile materials and upgrading of medical textile industry in China.
